Go play anywhere else

Don't waste your money on a course that doesn't care to level their tee boxes. Every single one was like hitting off the back of a hump back whale. Not even an inch of dirt to hit off of. Fairways were patchy and rough. Greens were in decent shape but again lacked any care to fix major sunken holes. Was bitten alive throughout the round by mosquitoes and flies. The layout of the course is actually laughable. 200 yard par 4.... This is a par 3 course in disguise that separates groups by 8 minutes and charges a premium. 4 groups were waiting on the first tee block before we could even tee off 20 minutes late. Never going back.

Terrible Shape

Cows wouldn't even want to be on this course. Worse than a cows pasture. Tee blocks were horrendous! We had to move several just to have a decent spot to hit a ball and stand

No Marshall

The pace was very slow taking 2.5 hrs for the first 6 he's. There was no Marshall on the course to maintain pace. There was no beer cart on course either.

Save your time and money.

Spent $60 for a cart and tee time, Marshall’s were completely rude and tried to tee off a tournament before my 4some because we got to the starter 5 minutes late even though it was due to the fact that nobody was at the desk to check us in. (“Tournament” was supposed to tee off 30 minutes after us.) fairways in terrible condition, yellow, and rock hard. Tee boxes are literally a pile of loose dirt. Bunkers weren’t maintained.

Going bankrupt?

Beaverdale offers a nice course layout for players looking for a shorter executive course. However the conditions were very poor. Fairways were extremely yellowed and tough to play off, and tee boxes are mounds of dirt littered with broken tees. The staff I did see were very nice, but not nearly enough of them as the one lady was trying to do 6 different jobs behind the counter. Overall just seems like they aren’t putting any money into maintaining the course and staff which sadly means I won’t be back.

Horrible condition

Probably the worst shape course I’ve played in 20 years!

Completely burnt….NO grass…a cow pasture would have been an improvement.

There were so many broken tees on the tee boxes that had there been any grass you wouldn’t have been able to see it.

Totally unmaintained..Golf North should be ashamed to have this course associated with their name!

I feel like I’ve been robbed paying to play here.

Dry

Fairway's harder than the asphalt in the parking lot.

Tee blocks dirt was so dry (no grass)...... felt like your were in a bunker.

Greens were in good shape.

Simply not worth it

As the title says, this course is not worth your time or money. Pace of play is horrible as they book tee times every 8 minutes even though their score card estimates 15minutes per hole. The layout is downright dangerous with many tee boxes being right in striking distances from multiple other holes all around them.

The condition is not the worst i have seen but it is terrible when considering the green fees payed to play there. Some staff were friendly and even mentioned how the 8 minute tee times is just a cash-grab. However the person running the pro shop was very rude to the woman i was playing with in regards to what she was wearing. It was a very normal womens golf top and the pro shop attendant made multiple comments about how it was too revealing and she should have to buy another shirt from the pro shop. Not a great start to a round….

Overall, it feels like the property would be good for a nice 9 hole course but they instead packed a very tight and dangerous 18 into it. I would not recommend this to anyone, especially considering the far better options in the surrounding area that beat this course in every category and cost the same (or less).

Avoid it at all costs

A Bad Joke

I have played this course years ago, and I liked it then. With many open tee times at the last minute, I decided to book a tee time for my Son and I.

The general course conditions were the worse that I have seen within a 45 minute radius of Kitchener Ontario in the past 10 years.

Many Tee blocks were devoid of any grass and there were so many broken tees in them, you would think there was absolutely no pride at all in the upkeep of the course.

The fairways were spotty of grass and extremely hard, whereas across the road (Beaverdale) everything looked green.

The greens were average at best.

The warning signs were there upon booking, a last minute booking was made on a perfect weather Sunday afternoon, and there was over an hour of wide open tee times available.

There are so many courses available in this area that are similar in cost, go to one of them and enjoy your outing instead of wondering why you did not ask for your money back.

I regret not taking pictures of the course to add to this review for others to judge for themselves.

Fairways and greens mostly in okay shape. Cart paths are horrible, tee blocks very inconsistent, and slow or missing staff. No staff members around when we made the turn and tried to grab some snacks and drinks.
