Brookfield Country Club - Gold

Golfing was good weather was not the best. We had light showers on and off during the round of golf.

Some very short par 4's to help lower the score. We had slow play in front of us for the front 9 but things picked up on the back. Nice and well looked after course overall.

Firstly, I would like to start by saying that I played this course early in the spring (May 6th, 2018) and my review will be based on the conditions at the time. I am sure that as the year progresses the course will get into much better shape.

This was my first time playing Brookfield and I found the course overall to be a good deal, if you can book during a "hot deal." From pulling onto the property, it is easy to understand how to proceed (i.e.: where the pro-shop is, bag drop, etc.) because the signage is good. The staff on the grounds were friendly and even allowed me to start my round earlier than expected.

I was fortunate to play with a member who knew the course well, he was able to advise me on some of the more interesting holes, of which there are a few. But that being said, that course is relatively wide open. Although there are a number of tress and bush area throughout the property. The condition of the course was to be expected for that time of year, the greens were slow and bumpy. They had recently aerated the greens and so that certainly contributed to the bumpiness. But aside from the greens, the course was in good shape.

This is a course I would recommend for someone who is looking to have some fun on the golf course, the layout is relatively easy to understand and the openness of the fairways are very forgiving. It's definitely worth it if you can book a "Hot Deal" tee time.

The back tees allow for the average golfer to pull most of their clubs out. There is a long par 3 and a long dog leg par 5.Not exactly a champ course, but better than a hedge fund cornfield flip. Probably best suited to the retired+ gang, especially if you are looking to get paired up.

The course was good but it was slow because they were very busy.

didnt know greens were aerated made putting next to impossible also course should try to match up walking golfers with other walking golfers not mixed

some of the Greens could have been better but the fairways were very good.

Fun to play, course is not that difficult with generous fairways and an easy layout.

A little shorter with less than standard par.

Person checking you in. I believe it was Tony who had checked is in. He was sitting with the regulars and just glared at me when I came in. I did initiate"hi how are you Tony" with not the friendliness of responses.

I have found that many courses have staff that take issue with us booking through golf now.

Many comments , reactions and negative feedback because we didn't pay a premium price.

Great care taken on the course! Usually one of the best greens! Nice to have 3 9's to play from.

Played with three other golfers. One decided to walk which slowed us somewhat. Course in fairly good condition.
