beautiful area
very nice golf course , fairways were in excellent condition , pace of play was good , some challenging holes , over all a good golfing day .
Calerin Golf Curse
This is a hidden treasure with challenging holes the first time you play it. It has a lot of strategic sand bunkers which make it very interesting. You have to be accurate with your shots, otherwise you will be in lots of trouble. I am definitely going back and highly recommend this course

Two in one
When I read that this course played like a full 18 hole course due to the fact that there are 2 sets of tee boxes at each of the 9 holes, I took this with a grain of salt. Wow, they weren't kidding! This course really does setup and play like a different 9 on the back. The elevation, distance and course design really do make for the sense of a full 18. As for the course conditions, they are excellent. I have a great time trying to improve my game here and it is quickly becoming a favorite.

Beautiful nine hole course
Considering the lack of rain course was in great shape and is a great layout. A pleasure for sure
Worth playing again and again
At first, I overlooked it because it is a 9 hole course, but the designer cleverly placed separate tee blocks to make most holes play differently. Holes are interesting and lots of challenge with elevation changes. Greens are well kept, but the fairway rough was very dry - but most courses are like that this season due to lack of rain. Price can't be beat for a course this good. Definite repeat!
Average golf
Club house not great. Golf carts are really slow. They force you to return carts at 8:30pm even if you haven't finished your round, they will let you walk back on to finish. No refreshments cart. If you looking for a quick game at a great price, this is your place. They also maintaine course well. Greens, bunkers and fairways were in very good condition even after this long heat wave. I would return for a 9 hole round, not an 18 hole.
clubhouse looks and smelled bad
great course but when we got to the dilapidated clubhouse inside it smelled like urine- probably from raccoons getting in or perhaps a washroom sanitation problem

This is a great 9 hole course, the course and greens are in great shape
This is a perfect place if you want to get out for quick 9 holes.

I enjoyed the course it was challenging for me, lots of bunkers, nice staff very helpful.
Nice course layout
Course played nicely with some challenging holes and pin placements. Greens in very good condition. Hitting from different tee box for 2nd 9 holes makes the holes play differently and interesting.

Pace of play is usually slow but was fine on this day. Decent shape but bunkers are left unraked (some have no rake provided) and some eroded due to water damage.
It is a challenge
Conditions were great. This course is a challenge so do not take it lightly. The only complaint is not about the course but the golfers in front of us you complained about slow play, but were the ones holding up everyone else. They did not play ready golf, but stood by admiring each others shots and putts.
Nice layout. Slow play and terrible crossover
Fun course for early in the season. Crossover was 30 minute wait. No food available? Barbaques sitting inside clubhouse on a beautiful day? Need marshal to move players along, 4 hours to play 12 holes before we left.
Good Deal and Worth the Drive
This is a good value for the money. The course is in good condition and the layout is interesting. Many sand traps at just the right place to make you think about your shot. Although only 9 holes, the two different tee boxes make it feel quite different the second time around
Great course but poorly managed.
I've played here for a very long time and they can never seem to space out their tee times. Being a 9 hole course they need to learn to keep play flowing after your 9th hole instead of coming off of 9 and there is 3 four somes waiting to tee off on 1. I don't think they will ever get this figured out. Other than that it's a great course!
This course has great features overall
Thoroughly enjoyed the round, especially from two sets of tee's, greens and fairways were great,,would recommend this to friends :-)
Slow play alert; slow play alert
Extremely friendly staff and super nice course design is completely ruined by the poor pace of play at this facility.
Improve the pace of play and I would go back in a pinch. As it stands right now; I will not book play at Calerin.
