Interesting greens
I like this course. It is not too long but has awesome greens. That's likely where your score will take the biggest hit.
The fairways are quite generous and not too many places to find trouble.
I would rate the overall a 4 star if the staff at the golf desk were a little more friendly. They are not very welcoming. Perhaps some training in customer service would help. There is a very nice clubhouse, locker room and good selection of food and beverage.
Ironwood
Great times watching for white squirrels. Traditional golf Course with peanut shaped greens
Hidden Gem
The course is very well maintained. The greens were very fast although some were small. Lots of long and narrow greens.
Good day at Ironwood
Course in great shape and pace of play was excellent
Great Friendly Course
Have played this course many times over many years.
Great shape considering the spring we had!!!
Always fun and relaxing to play.
Ironwood
Greens were in great shape ... Be sure to read lots of break.
Great conditions
The course is in gorgeous shape. Greens and fairways could not have been better.
Loved the day!! Great carts WITH GPS right on them!! A real asset when you’re there for the first time.
Friendly staff!
Worth the drive
A terrific course for a round with friends. Nice layout; short track in great condition. Greens were small and quick. The clubhouse and staff are fantastic. We always enjoy our trip to Ironwood.
Course is in great shape.
Beautiful day for golf. We teed off at 08:15, wonderful time to play. Pace was excellent. Greens excellent condition although would be helpful if others would take a bit of time and fix ball marks.
Great experience
Wow. This was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday in June. Blue sky and perfect temperature for a game of golf. We played in under 4 hours with no problem. Generous fairways, large interesting greens and several shots over ponds or a creek to keep you thinking about course management.
We definitely want to play this track again.
a 4.5 hour round
Problem
It was a radio station promotion day
Allowed 5’somes on course
Fantastic Course conditions.
Played the course a few times over the years but after playing on Friday and I was very impressed by course conditions. I was expecting a wet course with lots of wet long grass form the rain on Thursday but everything was dry with no restrictions and carts and grass trimmed up perfect. The greens were great and very fast and made lots of putts. Beer cart girl was great and very friendly and club house staff served us a great lunch. Great value and looking forward to coming back. Keep up the good work Ironwood Golf Club.
The coarse uses almost every club in your bag. From long par 3's to shorter par 4's. Holes are spaced out from each other enough that you don't have to many shots coming into your fairway from others.
Too many beginners
This golf course is not drive range!
Beginners are too much practice.
3times drive.
5times second shot.
More 5 times chip shot.
More 3times bunker shot.
More 5times putter.
Too many balls lost.
18holes ,6 hours,stressful!!!!!
