Fun little course
Fun little course, well priced and an EXCELLENT spot to work on your short game
Worth the Stop on the Way to the Cottage
We've driven past this place so many times on the way to the cottage and finally decided to stop in. Glad we did! The pace of play was great, even with groups ahead of us. The carts were smooth, and the staff were really friendly and happy to answer all of our questions since it was our first time playing there. The heatwave has dried out a few spots on the course, but the greens were in great shape. We'll definitely be back, this will be one of our regular stops on the way to the cottage.
Challenging 9 hole course. Lots of hills. Firm undulating greens. Fairways are Firm with plenty of rollout. No par 5s. Cheers!
Fun time
Super friendly staff, course was in great condition from years past. Couple tough elevation changes and a blind tee shot make this track a challenge, always a fun time playing here when we’re up at the cottage.
Very disappointed
I had fairly low expectations..a low priced 9 hole course that doesn't have any extensive irrigation. This hot and dry summer really had a serious effect on the course conditions.
Still.....some of the fairways and areas around the greens were literally hard pan dirt.
Some if the routings were weird.. the flagstick and green were invisible from the blue tees on the par 3 6th and the green on the 5th was perched on the side of a hill that was mainly sparse dormant yellow grass and dirt. It was impossible to land a pitch shot on it. MIne bounced off it and ended up in a bush 30 yds past.
The positives? friendly staff, nice carts and a quick round...only 8 cars in the lot.
Best Men's League
New greens keeper course already showing enormous difference. Greens are getting better all the way around showing fairways with different cuts to make game more of a challenge. Eighth green one of the hardest par 3 anywhere in Ontario if not Canada
Par 32
Hilly 9 hole layout. Good 9 for couples play. Greens slow but OK for cottage country.
Very enjoyable pace of play
Not a bad course for cottage country
Course is fairly easy, however small greens which are VERY slow (grass wasn't cut) made it more challenging. We completed our round walking in about 1 hour 40 minutes.
Great country course
Good variety of terrain and elevation changes, nice water features, greens a bit slow but otherwise terrific little course
