The greens, airways, and tee boes were all in very good condition. The tee boxes had a few bare spots and sometimes it was challenging to locate a flat area for my stance----still very good overall. We have been experiencing 'drought conditions' in the area, so some problems are probable. I wish they would clear out some of the bullrushes from in front of #1 tee and also along the side of #2. It would improve the athestics of the course and the golfer's 'first impression'.

Can't beat this deal $15.99 incl on Golfnow! The course itself is average difficulty holes are not laid out the best many tee boxes seem to be put in dangerous locations to people shooting into greens. The condition is poor with many damaged greens, damaged fairways, fallen tree debris from storms. For $15.99 I am not upset but if I paid regular price I'd want my money back. I doubt I's return unless it was under $20. Pace of play was also very slow! I did eagle 18 though! Lol

The course was in excellent condition considering how dry the conditions have been the last few weeks..Greens were in excellent condition but certain pin positions were ridiculous.. Very enjoyable round...

There's a few holes that demand good tee shots, but you usually have lots of room to work with. There's quite a few forced lay-ups as well, but if you miss the green, the rough is still manageble. The greens roll nicely, too.

A must play if you are in the GTA. A great test of your game especially if you enjoy working the ball. Greens are very challenging especially on the shorter holes.

Before booking on GolfNow , I suggest that calling the course to see if there are any tournaments. On our particular day they had 2 tourneys going. One started at 9am and was still going when our 2:40 tee commenced. The second tourney followed the first To add a little more drama we had a mixed group of weekend golfers (16) ahead of us for the first 9 holes. Holes 10 thru 18 moved the way golf should be played. Would go back but will defiantly call ahead

I brought up relatives from Niagara Region just to play a round of golf. From the moment we entered the pro shop to loading our clubs back in the car was amazing. The staff was extremely pleasant and truly appreciated our business. The pace of play was fantastic, never waited on a hole and the course was in very nice shape. I will definitely be heading back to Harbour View!

I had played this course a number of times in the late 80's. It is mature and beautifully maintained. The fairways were smooth and well cut. The greens were moderately fast. It was very windy when we played which made it extra challenging. This is a great course for the average golfer.

Great Course. Lots of challenges. Exceptional staff. That's why my Son and I are regulars at this course

Extremely friendly helpful staff. Course was in great shape. Very nicely laid out tract. Pro shop and course personnel were all very engaging and super friendly and helpful. (great asset). On our list to definitely revisit.

The course layout is very good and there is a lot to think about before your next shot. Will I make it over, should I lay up. The greens are challenging as well. A great course for all levels of golfers. One of my favourites in this area.

Staff were friendly, very informative being my first time playing. Course was in excellent shape from tee blocks to greens, nice layout and had a few challenges as well. My only concern was I was in. 2some , ahead of time there was a 5some, great group of guys but slowed the pace down a little, they did let us play through at one point but was not really a issue enjoyed chatt to them when we had to wait lol

We arrived on time.

Took us exactly 5 hours to complete the course.

The course overbooked.

This is an OK course with several tree lined holes which I am sure quite nice in the summer / fall. Greens are quite large and in decent shape. Quite a few dog leg holes including 17 "the boomerang" hole which is kinda ridiculous.

So what if it's a little off the beaten path.... Who cares if YOU drive too fast past the train tracks you miss the entrance.... Does it matter that when it's busy the parking lot I a little crowded.... You're here for the golf!! Dollar for dollar, the best course in the Barrie area... PERIOD?
