Good value for the buck
I played this course numerous times and always enjoyed it. It was the first time for my wife who is intermediate player and she really enjoyed too.
can only imagine the summer
got a really good deal on golf now and decided to make the trip up to play. weather was on the chilly side but many layers and coffee helped. not a lot of water to contend with but some challenging holes to be had. all in all, i would add it to my course repertoire if i have time for the longer commute.
This course was in great shape.
Wish we were notifyed a tournament was a head of us.I think there needs more communication.
friendly staff
Friendly staff, good value, good course condition, greens in good condition
Great time at Habour View
Excellent value and a great setting for a course. Hard to believe you can play a round of golf just north of Newmarket for such a great rate. Will be back!
Poor Scheduling
Played twice in one week. First round (weekday) slow ... no Marshall's anywhere to be found. Made the turn and new groups on the 10th going off in front of us to make it more slow. Second time (weekend) our round was close to 6 hours - over a half hour late teeing off - no Marshall's to be found again. Very slow pace of play and no monitoring - or are you booking too tightly??
Good quality at reasonable price
Played for first time. Good shape and pace for a reasonable price.
Slow. Uninviting facilities
Very slow pace of play. 2 groups waiting through the front nine. One group through the back nine. Greens rolled true, not much break. Great for average or beginner golfers. Pretty open so hard to lose balls.
Bathrooms in clubhouse stink, stank, stunk - Like an outhouse. And dirty. Hot dog buns stale. Beer reasonably priced.
Groups ahead and behind us were super nice with nobody in a hurry. Even with the negatives, we enjoyed the day. But wouldn't go back.
The course offers a little bit of everything
This course has some very challenging holes for the average golfer. The greens were in good shape and they do offer a challenge.
Good Condition!
The course was in good shape. Challenging, yet forgiving for the average golfer. The greens were in nice shape too!
They have the best beercart girls
the course was in good condition was very much worth the deal on golf now .Seemed quite busy a lot of waiting on every hole. And that was on a Wednesday! That being said I do think they had a special going on that day for walkers for twenty dollars, and there were a lot of walkers despite the heat.
Beautiful course
I love this course

Great Experience
Very friendly staff, very well maintained course and a fantastic location to play. Pace of play was a bit slow due to hold ups with all three groups ahead of us and there was no Martial to move them along. Overall, this was a great location and I will be returning to play and have already recommended this course to friends.
What a great staff!
A pretty little course along the shore of Lake Simcoe, so no hills. Easily walkable. A few narrow fairways and U-turn doglegs made things interesting.
Saturday afternoon start time at 12:30 should not have taken 5.5 hours. Thankfully we were not in a hurry.
Staff, especially in the restaurant, were super friendly and helpful.
Just a cosy course for the recreational golfer out to have a leisurely round followed by a beer 'n' burger.
Nice Course
Course in good shape with some challenging holes especially the 17th hard dog leg left need a good drive to hit the turn
trees!!
not too long, a good test were good shots are rewarded, great bang for the buck! ONot as well manicured as most but very playable!!
Nice course
Really enjoyed the course. Conditions were nice. The course is well cared for and well groomed. The rough on the 17th is easily makable with a solid tee shot. For $40 with cart you can't go wrong.
older style course
The greens were good, but very slow, and bumpy greens keeper must have put glue on instead of fertilizer. Fairways were bare and sparse in many places. Pace of play was very slow .
Marshall would be helpful
Very nice course but no Marshall to speed up slow groups. Pace of play was very slow.
Overall great day
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The course was in great condition and excellent weather that day. Great day to out golfing with my son!
