Had a Nice round
Met 3 new people today that made round enjoyable.
Greens are in tough shape, bare in spots & bouncy
Fairways good & tee decks ok.
Had fun
Golf getaway
Got to play for cart fees only after 3pm while staying overnight. Course was wet and cover in goose droppings. Had fun regardless.
Wet
went with a few new players. about 7 minutes on the first hole, the warden comes up and tells us we have to play group best ball, and starts yelling tips at us. we essentially skip the first hole because hes staring at us from 10 feet away the whole time. after that, we saw no other players, so we got harassed for nothing. The ground itself was also flooded, making a few of the fairways marsh. maybe just a bad season for the coarse. if the ground wasn't extremely wet, it would have been a nice little 9 hole.
Great course with lake and mountain view
Love this course due to the beauty and layout .
Good for warming up your games or just have fun to spend a day under gorgeous view.
Great value for money as well .
Challenging course for whole family.
Was only able to play only front 9 because of COVID-19 restrictions but it is challenging course for low to mid handicap players. It is better when you are already in that geographical area.
Lovely setting
Pretty nice course except the greens and tee boxes were in rough shape.
the poor condition of both the fairways and the greens detract from this course significantly. The design can be challenging for an executive style course but it is overtaken by lack of condition. It is true the weather has been adverse for golf courses in 2020 but this is when good course maintenance focuses on playing conditions rather than course construction and rebuilding.
For instance the tee blocks have a lot of divots and no attention to repairing or adding topsoil and seeding..Other local courses are having trouble with fairway grass but their greens can be perfect. The greens at Lakeside also are poor this year.
Nice course , poor Paths
I’ve stayed and played here many times with my young son and enjoy it However, the conditions of the Cart paths are horrible and lessen the experience. They are long overdue for repair. It is not an easy course for kids to walk to this is important for kids and older guests who prefer riding. Please fix the and I’ll keep coming back!
