North Granite Ridge Golf Club

About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

Spectacular scenery
The course was in excellent shape (greens had be recently aerated, so putting was a bit off). Fairways were in excellent shape. The course was challenging enough. The views on many of the holes were spectacular, given the change in colour. Would definitely like to play again.
Perfect Day for Golf
It was an exceptional fall day for golf. The only problem was GolfNow. Being fall there was a frost delay. GolfNow refused to share contact information with the course so they could share the time delay with us, which was almost an hour. Driving quite a distance to play, it would have been nice to know about the delay so we needn't hurry. So the course was great, the personal at the course were fantastic, in the end we had a great golf afternoon. But we will never use GolfNow again.
Need to -20 or - 30 bucks when aeration
NGR in prime season is a good solid course with tricky greens however when your product is diminished in value, the course should adjust their price otherwise not worth the cost when you cannot chip and putt due to aeration and oversanded. Other courses do the adjustment.....guess we are all rich in the Muskoka.
Beautiful course
Well worth the trip to play this gem
So hassle free and relaxed providing everything you need for an awesome day of golf
Stunning
Played in the fall with the changing of leaves was awesome. The course was in great shape and greens were fast and challenging. . Tight fairways which could be a challenge if you don’t hit straight. Still a very fun course for all levels
Great Muskoka course with Granite outcroppings and beautiful Vistas
Course was in great shape, sand traps could use a little more sand and maintenance
Love the new outdoor patio overlooking the 18th green
Nice to have the parking lot and cart paths paved.
Menu items at little expensive
Could use new balls at the driving range.
Very well kept
Course was in excellent shape and very well maintained
The greens were in surperb shape.
Beautiful course
The course is beautiful, tee boxes were a little beat up but overall the condition and layout was excellent. Unfortunately it was a five hour round and no Marshalls to be seen throughout the round.
Greens are tough (lots of undulation and placement of pin made it difficult)
Tough course in terms of greens. A couple of narrow fairways made it difficult for those that drive away from mid-center fairways.
Saw some really cute deer in the fairways and in the wooded areas.
Muskoka hidden gem
I was playing another nearby course Huntsville Downs (another good value), and the gentleman I was paired with mentioned North Granite Ridge. I'm glad I decided to do the extra 15 minutes drive and play this Hidden Gem. The yardage on the scorecard is misleading at 6163 yds. With all the elevation changes, holes can play much longer than you think. With regards to course conditions, it was exceptional. I would put it up against Deerhurst ($175) anytime. So if you're up in the Muskoka region, look up this Hidden Gem. I'm sure you'll be glad you played it.
Beautiful course! Very scenic
We loved this course.
Not easy but beautiful to play! Narrow fairways
and lots of trouble to get into. Very challenging.
But beautifull nature!
Great course and staff
The course is in good shape and great layout. The staff were very friendly and great to deal with. The pace was the only thing. We were a twosome and had a couple of foursomes of not very good golfers in front of us. In fairness the Marshall did ask us a couple times and we said we were good. Just nice to get out and play. Overall a very good day.
