Oak Gables Golf Club - Oak Course

About
The three nine-hole courses at Oak Gables Golf Club are each named after trees that can be found blanketing the gently rolling hills. Though the landscapes are similar, the Oak, Maple, and Pine Courses each manage to offer something a little different but they are all player friendly enough to be enjoyed by a wide range of skill levels. The Maple Course is touted as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Oak Course offers just as challenging a round. The golf course opens with its toughest hole, a lengthy par 5 that is routed around and over a large pond on the left. There is also a creek that cuts right across the fairway. The six par 3s are a unique feature of the layout, ranging in length from 125 yards up to 188. It’s a golf course that will test your skills in a variety of different ways.

Great Par Mix - Poor Greens
Love the layout of the course, but the greens need a lot of work. Many of the greens were sandy and had uneven patches.
Very quick beer Girl...CHEERS
Easy amateur course ...fairways nice, most T-boxes, but greens are a little under the weather (Sandy balding) but still in decent shape
First day out!
Good day out on the course, extremely friendly staff!
Good Game
Good Course! It was a bit too buggy out (7pm in July) but not the courses fault. Lots of Par 3s for beginners but some holes were very hilly adding a different challenge.
Good Course, a bit crowded
Good course for the price, would probably play again.
A bit crowded with other fairways connected so often you would have someone playing on a different hole on your fairway.
Oak Gables
Terrific short course in terrific condition, and friendly helpful staff!
Condescending staff.
Course was not nice enough to have condescending staff.
The course ranger/starter lady and the guy handing the till to pay were both shockingly rude and condescending my three friends and I all had separate interactions with the pro shop guy and left being like "wow that guys rude".
And then the ranger/starter sealed the deal that we won't be going back there. She was worse then the first guy openly insulting and demeaning because we weren't sure where to go.
Very nice
I really enjoyed my round short course finshed 18 holes in just over 2 hours . the starter when he found out it was my first time playing here he gave great advice
Too short
Course is too short. It’s in decent condition but I mean two of us played 18 holes in 2 hours and 15 minutes lol
Great executive course
This is a great executive course with a few par fours and a few short par fives. Three nines enables a great pace. Staff were great and friendly. Starter was super helpful. Course was in pretty good shape.Food was great and waitress was very helpful and friendly. Excellent course for beginners.
Nice pitch & putt!
Took my junior aged son there to test it out. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Not a bad track to get out for a quick hit, feels like an executive 18 or a pitch & putt which is fine! They seem to have a solid junior program I'll be signing my son up for
Genuine golfers beware!
First time playing here, I will accept responsibility for saying I should have done more research, however, this is not a golf course, it is a pitch and putt!
If you have any inclination to play genuine golf, stay away from here... Tiny course, unimaginative and easy holes.
Somehow on the first hole on the maple course, there was lots of standing water around the green despite the heat wave and to top it off we watched a.'6 ball' group out on the course despite there being a starter. Would not appreciate being stuck behind that group'
Nice small course
Nice small course. Good for beginners. Good variety with 3 9 holes courses.
