Oak Gables Golf Club - Pine Course

About
Oak Gables Golf Club is home to three different nine-hole courses called Pine, Oak, and Maple. Named after the trees that are scattered throughout the landscape, each nine offers a different challenging layout. The Maple Course is often referred to as “the pride of Oak Gables,” but the Pine Course, which is the longest of the three, can be just as tough. The rolling terrain provides a multitude of uneven lies and you can also expect a few tricky blind shots. The most difficult par 3 is the 193-yard sixth, which plays uphill into the prevailing wind, but the toughest hole on the golf course is the par-4 eighth. An uneven lie in the fairway makes the approach shot even more daunting. In addition to the golf course, Oak Gables also has a full-length, all grass driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Pretty good
fairway was a little hard, but we've had little rain. greens were in pretty rough shape, but for the value, the scenery and hole layout is pretty good. definitely good for beginners and intermediates.
OakGables
This course is very tight and the 3 different courses keep crossing each other and there is no direction on which way to go for the course you are playing.
Bad experience
Asked to play an extra 9 since the course was in awful condition. They pretty much laughed at us. For the price, this course is not worth playing. Greens were horrible, spend your money elsewhere.
Rough greens
Maybe because of the weird weather we have had lately but the greens were bad except for oak 9. Starter was friendly but that was it. We didn’t feel welcomed there was a strange vibe
Alright course
Worth the money, sucks that it isn't a registered course too short. Was in good condition considering how dry it has been. A little repetitive, but a good course to practice iron play.
Good course for a quick 18-hole round
Greens need a lot of work. Good course to work on your irons. Fast paced play.

Short and greens need work
Not a bad trek, and good for kids. Wide open and not a lot of trouble. But greens are in very rough shape.
Greens are beatup
I have play the course a number of time because it’s a nice course to work on your irons. They get heavy play and a lot of people that don’t care to fix their ball marks. The greens have some ant hills and are very beat up and the price if you don’t get a deal is way out of line .
