Lombard Glen Golf Club

The course itself was in less than great shape overall . There were many bare patches from heavy rainfall accumulation that resulted in "alligator skin like patches" in the fairways. The sand traps were quite hard. On the other hand, the greens were in great shape and putted well.

Well laid out, tight fairway course, with lots of water, and bunkers. Conditions were mostly excellent with some fairways under repair due to the significant rainfall all summer. Greens were smooth and rolled fast..

Only criticism was not being able to get a quick bite to eat at the turn...kitchen closed and no premade sandwiches, or other options.

Overall, a definite repeat.

We started on the Back Nine. Course conditions were not good. Greens were almost burnt out, strewn with ball marks and covered in fungus. The holes were very wet. Then we got to the Front Nine. Honestly the course should have been shut down and allowed to dry out. Conditions were deplorable. The greens were just as bad on the Front Nine. We should have known by the less than friendly reception when we checked in that the day would not go well. We should have been made aware of the terrible conditions and green fees should have been reduced significantly. We would never recommend this golf course.

The course was good. Fairways nice with good grass. Greens moderately slow with easy pin location. Not too many bunkers but at fair locations. Nice waterholes for a good challenge.Overall: Great course for the price.

I’ve played Lombard Glen about a dozen times over the years. I like the course and I like the challenging holes. The greens were not in bad shape however, some of the fairways and tee boxes were in poor condition. Just last year, the course was in much better shape than when I played it this year. Brief encounter I had with the staff was pleasant and I still would recommend this course to others since each of the point of mentioned above kind of balance themselves out.

Have played here many times and have always enjoyed the experience.

Really like the lay out of Lombardy Glen. Always a great day.

Late May and fairways need some work. Should be in mint condition by end of June. Greens were great with virtually no winter kill.!

Nice deal with golfnow hotdeals.Nice layout.The greens were good for early season.But the rough was too long in spots.And the fairway grass is inconsistent. Hard pan or sparse grass mostly..The back 9 was more lush.So good value with the hotdeal price.But overpriced at regular rate

Had a great time on this fun course. Not too long of a course but definitly makes up for in hazards. Most holes are tree lined, have water, and lots of OB.

We had a great time. Course in good shape in spite of our dry weather.
