Great value
It had been quite a few years since I had played here but I was glad I went back. The course was in great shape.
Thames Valley
Good course challenging layout well maintained. Would recommend for all levels of golfers.
Good day of golfing
Our first time to this course. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course is well laid out easy to find your way around. Looking forward to returning.
Great course well taken care of and great staff Friendly definitely will be going again
Pace
I would think they had overbooked as we waited 15 minutes on each hole - by the time when came to the next hole to play there were two groups who had yet to tee off. We only played 5 holes as we could not have finished the round before dark.
Great course
We had a really enjoyable fall round of golf.the course was in great shape and the staff were very helpful,we will be back.
Well treed course
We played the 9 hole course twice as we were sent to the wrong tee at the beginning. No big deal - we enjoyed it. The course is not long, there are no water hazards but lots of nice trees. The greens were very fast.
First time
Booked on a whim and was glad I did.
Not overly long but a good challenge.
Great local course!
We got a great deal from Golfnow. The course was in good condition. Only complaint would be some unrepaired ball marks on the greens and the massive number of ground hogs. Pace of play was excellent. Two of us finished 18 holes walking in a little over 3 hours.
We will definitely play again...especially at the for rate.
SLOW SLOW SLOW
FIVE AND A HALF HOURS!!!! This course was chock full of groups with umbrellas (although sunny), large brimmed hats and very colourful clothing. They have absolutely no regard to pace of play whatsoever. We talked to the pro shop who acknowledged the problem with these colourful groups but have yet to implement a fix. Last time golfing at Thames
thames
Considering the amount of rain lately the course appeared to drain well...course is a little boring as goes up and back up and back, etc...but fairways large and leaves not a problem in the Fall...greens are tricky as everything slopes towards the river so rare to get a straight on putt....downhill putts are very challenging as a result....pretty course.
Course
The couse was in good condition, they could use a bit more grass on there fairways.
Nice layout.
Great golf course. Unfortunately the view of the river has been blocked by the growth of bush along the bank.
Ok for a city run course
The course isn't a difficult one, although the fairways can be challenging due to the many small hills and valleys of the natural terrain. Also some fairways have concrete protrusions here and there on the holes closer to the river. It was in good shape as to be expected from a city run course. Pace of play was very slow due to it being busy and some groups taking longer then necessary. Also, the Marshall didn't have much of a presence and did little to speed up the play of other groups even when called when there were three groups playing and waiting on the same hole unnecessarily...so no one allowed faster groups to play through As per normal golf rules.... As a side note dress code is non existent , so bring your jeans and T-shirts to play here... Needless to say I won't likely be visiting this course any time soon.
Beauitful location, nice course!
Reasonably challenging course. Holes are a bit tight. Beautiful big trees and fairly open fairways.
Slow slower slowest
We went on a Saturday first mistake as a twosome we followed a twosome by the sixth hole we were backed up three twosomes called the club house to see if their was a Marshall on the course the said know so after waiting 20 waiting to hit on the next two holes we packed it in after 7. The pro shop was good about it and gave us two 18 hole rain checks. The course was nice and in good shape so it would be nice to play all 18 but only on a weekday less traffic
Greta walk in the park
90+ degree heat. Course in great shape. Pace was excellent. Plenty of water for drinking and exceptionally friendly staff. Highly recommend as a great walking course
Love the rolling fairways on this course.
Play was very fast and staff were friendly, would recommend to anyone.
Thank you for leaving such a kind review. We look forward to having you back at the course this season!
