What happened to this place?
I play this course with my dad (sr) 5-7 times a year. Last year 2024 new ownership was really making the place nice, clearing what needed to be cleared and general up keep, the greens were slow and slowish but in good shape. This season forget it. the greens looked doomed from the beginning of the season and the weeds (or whatever its called) took over. Honestly i'll never go back unless I hear the greens have been fixed. I'm very disappointed in what this course turned into.
The owners need to put a little tlc into the course
Weird but Interesting Course
Clever use of water hazards and shapes of a few greens to create some challenge while not having the threat of sand bunkers. Liked the consistency of approach, collar and green mow. Never hesitated to putt from collars or approaches after starting on the back nine. Some greens have some complexity on breaks to challenge your scoring.
Condition
Great condition for this early in the season. A lot of clean up has occurred around the ponds etc.
Improving
This course seems to improve every time we play. They have been clearing out the reeds from most of the ponds. Holes 15 and 17 look stunning now.
