improved course this year
new bunkers, taking good care of course but higher green fee than Toronto city's public course
Great x 10
Always a good test of abilities and close to home. Great city course.
Can someone tell me why it’s called Lakeview even though you cannot see the lake.
Challenging Layout
Nice course. Need to think your way through the course- many different sorts of challenges require all your shots
Great layout and very challenging
We teed off right on time. The starter was very polite and friendly. Loved playing this challenging course.
Planning to Play Lakeview Again
It had been about 5 years since I last played Lakeview and I plan to play it again soon. Why? Some of the holes have unusual layouts (example, No. 12, No. 16. They got me this time, but I believe if I play it again before I forget it, I will really enjoy approaching the holes on this course again. The course was well maintained and it is very good value for money. I paid CAD $48 for golf and cart, through golfnow.com.
Slow play
Nice course on a nice day. Foursome in front slowplayed and marshall drove by several times but did not ask them to speed up. Otherwise, a good golf outing.
Nice Course
Well maintained, practical designed course that provided some challenging play and good fun. Good value if on discounted rate, but I would not pay the regular price for this particular course because it is an hours drive from my home. The Starter had a personality that I did not care for. But other than that, I would recommend this course for those who do not mind a long drive to get there.
No place like home
This course is well maintained and in excellent condition. I played this course as a kid and I loved it then and love playing it now.
The pace of play was good, however the greens were slow, patchy and bare in certain areas.
Overall it’s a good course to play and easily accessible.
