A local favourite
Been playing for years and it still is a great layout for casual golfers looking for a course with some challenge. Pace was great and enjoyed the day
Classic design
I’ve played Lakeview for many years. It isn’t long by modern standards but it does require you to think your way around and keep the ball in play. The design of the greens are brilliant and years ago, they had them in great shape with speeds that defended the courses integrity. For the past few years, the greens simply aren’t at the same level or shape. A tough winter has prevented a healthy grass grow and many are bear / dormant and sandy. Fairways are always in good shape. Friendly staff. Always a fun round at Lakeview!
Shouldn’t be open
16 of 18 greens are dead. They shouldn’t be charging full rate and really, shouldn’t be open.

Nice course
This course is always in great shape. , easy to walk if you want to save a few bucks. Pace of play is good and they always marshal the course. The rack rate is a bit higher and they do not have specials ever as it is a city run course. However if you have not check this course out yet it is worth the money.
Challenging
If you enjoy challenges, great layout and fantastic experience, you should not miss playing this course with its history of hosting the Canadian Open. We enjoyed meeting it's resident coyote family who greeted us on the first tee.
Great close to the city course
I play here at least once a week, its local to the city but always in great shape. Good executive course one Mickey mouse hole #12 but beside that its a good track. Green are tough
The course features very odd
Service at the course was very pleasant but the bar and food is way to expensive and tee times offered could be much earlier
Bad weather but friendly staff!
Had to call it early after 9 holes (despite paying for 18). Staff was happy to talk to GolfNow and help us get a credit.
Old School Golf
Had been looking to play this course for years and finally had the opportunity. Well worth the wait. Old style golf with friendly fairways and nice greens. Club and shot selection at a premium. Easy course to walk.
