Cedarhill Golf and Country Club

The weather was excellent. We met a neighbour just as we got to the course. The starter allowed him to join us which made the day that much better. We would certainly return again.

We played here a couple of days ago. It's a challenging course that also isn't too hard for a 110 level golfer. Recommend.

Really enjoyed our round today. The course is interesting and a really good layout.

Best to leave the ball below the hole, if possible

Group of 4 of us on a nice Sunday morning. Course was not that busy. On the 3rd hole the marshall tells us to quicken the pace. Apparently there were 2 "members" behind us that wanted to go faster. The course is semi private. We offered to let them play through as 2 people will play faster than 4. The marshall said they couldn't as they were part of a bigger group. A few holes later after following us the marshall comes up and suggests we play best ball or play faster .How insulting. To give things context I shot a 92 and our round was done in 3hrs 40 min. We were NOT slow. They want the public to pay money to play the course but as non members are treated as 2nd class golfers. Girl at the pro shop was very nice and friendly.

fun to play lots of short holes but challenging

Monday will be my third time playing this course . I make sure I play here when I'm in from Halifax,NS. Senior's take note supper rates on Monday before one. Check it out overall the course was in good condition with some awesome holes. Friendly proshop staff sets this hole outing as a wonderful expierence.

It was our first time playing this course. I wasn't expecting such a gem of a course so close to home. Very impressed and we'll certainly be back!

This was a good course and fun experience. We originally expected it to play longer and more open based on previous reviews, however the course is very tight overlay between holes and a lot of the time makes you focus on laying up and target golf. I found myself hitting irons off a lot of tees to get proper angles and positioning. On one tee box, we could see 4 other groups teeing off on different holes at the same time so there is lots of overlap. Semi-blind shots can be deceiving with trees in your view, but most greens open up and are generally forgiving. Pin placement was very difficult while we played, all cups were on some type of hill every hole. Overall, the course was a great experience and in good condition considering the amount of rain lately. Couple of soggy patches, but I was impressed and had a great experience. Would play here again for sure.

Well course was nice , staff didn't seem to understand what was going on I booked my tee time on golfnow paid go get my ticket for the started system was down now this is about 12 minutes prior to tee time... go see the starter said you aren't on my sheet and that the aparant group you are booked for is already finishing the 1st green and the following group is teeing off you'll have to wait I asked can I just play in between I was told no you can't. The started said why don't you tee off and play through and catch up .... I do not play golf to speed play and catch up when that's the one job you have , total time took just shy of 6 hours to play 18 holes stood and sat in the fairway or at the tee box for 15-20 minutes waiting to tee off or play my next shot. I have never been to a course in my entire life so unorganized in my life. That's one terrible first impression if you ask me ! Will I likely go back to this course... probably not unless someone can assure me that my tee time is my tee time!!!!!!

Course was wet due to all the rain but still pretty good for November. Got a good deal! Played by myself and it was pretty busy but was able to play through a few groups no problem. Only complaint was some bare lies in the fairways had to look for some grass to hit off of.

Challenging but not intimidating, good condition, close to the city. Played first time and will be back.

Had a great day at Cedarhill G&C. I have played this before and I know how hard they work to keep it in good playable condition. The area has gone through a drought over the last month and this was starting to reflect in the course. The greens were in good condition, just a little sandy.
