Did not play due to a double booking
Did not play do to a double booking at the course, wasted me and my friends times to drive out there, extremely unhappy about this and i want my convenience fee back, will not book this golf course again through the site, and will always call to confirm now.
New greens on hole 9
Love this place! It's close by so an uber ride there doesn't break the bank. The staff are always super friendly!
The course was on great shape while I was there last. They had the new green finished on hole 9 as well. Always a deceiving hole but very memorable. Happy to see some investment in the greens. Last summer some of them got pretty burnt but they all seem good now. Tee boxes were clean and well maintained. Fairways were great, no dead patches.
Overall it's a great golf course. I can't write anything about member perks as I'm not a member, yet...
This course needs a lot of work
From tee boxes to greens and everything in between is in poor shape and very poorly maintained. It's obvious managment does not want to put serious money into the course. Golf carts are gas and noisy. Pace of play is slow and tedious. Clubhouse facilities are so so. No A/C. Restroom unclean. No locker room.. No shower. Food pedestrian. This short course should be avoided. Not worth the money. There are other choices.
Nice fall golf
Front 9 was slow due to group in front of us, waiting for every shot. We passed them at the turn when they stopped for a coffee and were on the 12th tee before they finished hole 10.
Overall good, friendly staff, narrow fairways, below average greens.
I’ve played cedar hill 3 times now and I’m pretty happy with it. The course feels shorter than others I’ve played, I think I used my driver 3 or 4 times total.
The course layout is nice, doglegs, narrow fairways and nicely placed bunkers make it challenging.
Not a fan of the green layouts, you’ll always either putt up hill or downhill.
great fall day
course is in good shape and pace of play comfortable. Great day for end of season.
Be Accurate
No need to hit them long at Cedarhill, but you need to be accurate. You also need to be putting uphill as there are many greens with severe slopes (most notably 3, 7, 9, 17, and 18). If you’re beside or above the pin you’d best make the first putt or you’re a long way below for your next. Fun course. Eminently walkable by two people in nicely under 4 hours.
Great course in Ottawa
Fantastic course with enough challenges of water, sand, and trees. One of my favourite courses to play in Ottawa. Conditions were top notch.
