Royal Niagara Golf Club - Iron Bridge Course

About
With a location tucked away between the Niagara Escarpment, the Bruce Trail, and the Welland Canal, Royal Niagara Golf & Country Club offers 27 scenic holes. The Iron Bridge Course is one of the three nines at the club. The first hole runs across the magnificent Iron Bridge, which passes over the rambling waters of the Welland Canal. There are undulating greens and deep, well placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Although all of the courses at Royal Niagara Golf & Country Club are equal in difficulty and beauty, each layout is unique with an interesting set of challenges that pose a formidable test for players of all skill levels.

Great course and greens are very challenging
The course was awesome but the play was very due to the JR tournament. Not the fault of the course as everyone was very friendly.
An excellent venue for a golf outing
We played the Escarpment Course and the Old Canal Course. The Escarpment Course was excellent but the Old Canal Course was rather difficult especially with very high wind conditions. It would be great if the course allowed customers to choose the 9’s we would like to play. We had 2 ladies who found the Canal Course way too difficult and stopped playing after the first 2 holes.
Great Course will definitely play again
Rain chased us off the course at 14th hole. Course was in amazing condition. Fairways were well manicured and greens were perfect. Some very challenging pin placements.
Course great beyond check-in
I very infrequently post a positive or negative review.
That said, once on the course...Royal Niagara was a pleasure to experience. Unfortunately, the staff at the pro-shop and the starter tainted the round. They were pompous, rude and disdainful to this customer to the point of posting this review and hence a poor recommendation.
Very unfortunate that staff and customer service tainted an otherwise enjoyable round and a great course.
Great course with great staff
I got a chance to play this course for the first time, and I have to say it was great experience. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure that everything was taken care of for me. The pace of play was wonderful, and the conditions of the course was top-notch.

Great condition
The course is in great condition, there were a few wear marks from people driving carts in the EXACT same path (nothing the course can do to prevent the herd from following each other ) . The greens were a bit on the wet side but in great shape . I just wish people would repair their own ball marks , which again the course can’t control . Overall , this is my wife and I’s favourite place to play together .
