Great layout and awesome friendly starter. Unfortunately the group that was on the 3rd green when we teed off on the first was quickly caught up on (by the 5th) and drove off it seemed right after our putting out Could have used a marshal to give them a push or give them a lesson in etiquette
Scenic, Challenging and Playable
This course is a beautiful picturesque course with all sorts of elevations and water hazards to challenge yourself and the tee positions allow all level of players to maximize their scores.
Beautiful Golf Course
A 3 nine hole course which covers all sorts of hazards and difficulty. One of my favorite golf course.
not a friendly course
staff is not well trained and careless. make stupid mistakes, yet very proud at work. easily ruin your day
Best public course I’ve ever played
The course was in great condition. Greens are kind of slow but very well kept. Friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered.
Carts are dated and awfully slow. But for the price you pay they are perfect.
Some challenging holes, but over all a very fun course to play.
Would play again in a heart beat
Great Conditioning
The starter was able to send us out earlier than our booked tee time as there were not too many other golfers. It was a very hot, sunny day and the superb condition of the course was immediately noticeable. Playing as a twosome, we completed the first 9 holes (Woods) in 1hour 30 mins. The 2nd 9 holes (View) were slower at a little under 2 hours. The course is truly spectacular and in pristine condition, nothing was out of place. The fairways smooth and green, the sand traps full of fine sand, the rough thick and lush and the greens true and not too fast. Also managed to find some trees trees!!! Looking forward to returning.
Great public course
Course is in good shape. Greens have plenty of movement and are challenging. Not terribly long but accuracy off the tee is essential. Very windy day so that added to the stroke count.
Course is in Very Good Shape. Played Lakes to Woods
Course is in very good shape and played slightly over 4 hours on a Saturday Afternoon.
Overall very nice course but extremely slow...
First time being on nobleton lakes and was pretty impressed by condition of greens. But it took 3 hours 10 mins for first 9 holes and no marshals to be found. It was soooo slow considering 2:36pm tee off on saturday. I came to proshop after to explain what happened and they were arguing back that marshal was out there and there's nothing they can do... staff with attitudes and was pretty dissapointed with how they handle situations.. I don't know if I'll go back there..
Woods/Lakes
The woods 9 still stands as the old front nine from the original 18 before the new nine was added. Really great layout and shot values. The lakes 9 was mixed with some new holes which were not as great as the old original holes but still enjoyable
Enjoyable round at Nobleton Lakes
Played the Lakes/Woods combination yesterday. Overall, it was a nice outing despite the unseasonably hot weather. The course condition, from tee to green, was excellent. The Lakes course has a nice layout, however, I do find the Woods course has perhaps too many blind shots.
If not for the pace of play on the front 9
We played Lakes and Views. Interesting mix of holes where course knowledge would help on some of the green approach shots. Greens rolled true, had good pace, and many breaks. Long putts are not friendly on these greens given the swales which can make being on the wrong side of the hole very punishing.
While we were a twosome, unfortunately the foursome ahead of us lost contact with the foursome in front of them by the 4th hole and were over a hole behind by the 6th which made for a long front 9. To be fair, the course marshal sent them to the Woods nine for their back such we played the back in a very respectable hour 45 minutes in spite of catching up to a foursome. But that is the risk of public courses.
