Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Meadow Nest
About
The Meadow Nest Course is one of two 18-hole courses at Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club. The club also offer an executive, nine-hole course. Meadow Nest is the longer and tighter of the two courses. Silver Creek meanders through 10 of the 18 holes. The golf course features rolling, bent grass fairways an abundance of water hazards throughout. The back nine is covered in mature trees and numerous bunkers, making accuracy a priority in scoring well. Two notable holes on the course are the 10th and 12th, which share a unique double green. The golf course is challenging, but four tee decks allow golfers to adjust the game to their abilities.

Great golf course for the time of year
With the late spring we have had, the Course was in surprisingly good condition. Always a pleasure playing the Hawk layouts.
If I had one complaint, (and it is common amoung the half dozen courses I have played to date), it’s the less than acceptable amount of sand in the bunkers.
Will definitely be back
Excellent course in wonderful condition.
The course is in superb condition with wonderful fairways and not too tough rough. Would recommend a lovely afternoon for 18 holes. We did get a little tired and played best ball for the last 3 holes. Luckily we both didn't fall apart on the same hole.
Very good
Everything was good, other than the wait for carts, which led to other problems. We went off late due to a tournament that took all the carts. This was foreseen, and could have been remedied by renting extra carts, or by not booking tee times during this time. This led to a backlog of people playing golf. The pace was ok due to good golfers keeping it moving. Still, it felt slow. People did their best, but we were held back by a crush of players waiting for carts, then going out all at once.
Fun
Everything was great except a lot of dead greens on the back nine. Not sure if winter kill or bad up keep
Great place
Go play it staff was great Marshall’s very good too
All a1

Great Quality Course
Enjoyed the course, Greens were a bit slow.
But overall the course was enjoyable. The front nine was more open, and the back nine more tree lined and more challenging.
Nice
The course was in great shape and pace of play was great. My only negative is that the course is under new management and the new changes should be explained at check in.For instance the use of the restaurant. Only the grill was available and I couldn’t get a glass of wine. There were two people that came for lunch only and were expecting the restaurant.otherwise the course was great and we will definitely be back.Hopefully they will stock the grill with wine.
A nice track at a reasonable price when booked thru Golf Now
Nice enjoyable day but staff isn’t the best
Always enjoy playing this course as it is not a tough track and good value. The staff don’t really know any sort of golf etiquette though. Marshall’s allowed a wedding party to tee off in front of us(twosome). They were in groups of three but then they decided they wanted to play in groups of six. Not cool. Called the pro shop and Marshall’s came out. Basically all they said was we could go back and play a few holes to not catch up to them. What they should have done was tell the guys not to play as a six. Just simple golf etiquette
Let’s go play
Course is in great condition weathered very well over the winter , saw no winter kill! Always enjoy playing this course.
Last game of the year
We were lucky. For this time of year the weather was quite warm, however the strong gusts of wind spoiled an otherwise perfect day. The course is challenging enough without wind and on this day I lost several balls. Nevertheless it was great to get out and play on a lovely course at a discounted rate. Thanks to GolfNow the $12.00 per player with cart on this excellent course was an incredible deal no matter the weather!
staff was great. from greeting and on. coarse was in very good shape. thank you to hawk ridge for a great year.
