Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Hawk's Island
About
Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club offers two 18-hole courses and one par-3, executive course. The golf courses are spread across nearly 400 acres of ponds and mature forests. Hawk’s Island is the nine-hole course, situated southeast of the other 36 holes at the club. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some undulation in the large, bent grass greens. The signature hole of the golf course is No. 5, which requires a downward approach shot to a tricky island green that is flanked by bunkers on both sides. The Hawk’s Island Course is ideal for juniors or beginners, but it is also great for golfers who just want a quick but challenging round.

Worth the Visit
Lots of fun - front 9 is wide open & back 9 is tighter and more difficult. Staff were great particularly as they had to deal with the Country wide Rogers outage.
Great to be back
It's been awhile since we played The Meadow, we had a great time walking, weather was beautiful, course conditions were great
It’s been better
I play this course every year as it’s down the road from my home. This is the worst condition I’ve seen it in. The pace of play was fast as we finished 18 in around 3.5 hours. Members were ignorant yelling at us for waiting for a group to clear the green on 18. Old folks holding the game of golf back with their attitude . Hoping the course gets better , but I won’t be playing there again this year
Good shape
Very enjoyable. Little pricey for my budget. I won't be able to play here as often as I'd like. Cut nice.
Fair Price
The bunkers (i saw a lot of them) were very well kept / and great to play out of. Greens were a little slow on the day we played in late May.
We waited on almost every shot after the 8th hole but still finished the round in 3hrs! We also lost a lot of balls ourselves.. and did a fair amount of recon trying to find them.
For the money - it’s fairly priced for the calibre of the course. I wouldn’t make it s regular destination myself, but if you’re looking for decent course that’s fairly well maintained at a fair price - the Timber course at Hawk Ridge fits the bill.
Hawkridge
Great staff very friendly!! Course was great for May and layout was great I will be coming back
Nice
Fairways and rough cut perfect. Greens a little slow but I know staff is working on them. Green fees and cart a little pricey for my budget so won't be able to play as often as I would like. Enjoyed my day.
Given it is early in the season , the course is in good condition
Gorgeous forgiving course
Absolutely walkable. We played in 3 1/2 hours walking. Got my steps in, enjoyed the challenge of each hole and the beautiful fall colours.
