Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Hawk's Island
About
Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club offers two 18-hole courses and one par-3, executive course. The golf courses are spread across nearly 400 acres of ponds and mature forests. Hawk’s Island is the nine-hole course, situated southeast of the other 36 holes at the club. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some undulation in the large, bent grass greens. The signature hole of the golf course is No. 5, which requires a downward approach shot to a tricky island green that is flanked by bunkers on both sides. The Hawk’s Island Course is ideal for juniors or beginners, but it is also great for golfers who just want a quick but challenging round.

Great value
Well manicured. Good layout. Beautiful scenery. Only negative...there were 3....two somes in a row. Pace of play slow. I'd rather play in a foursome. Enjoyed the day. Really good value.
Decent Day on Course
I have played Meadownest before although play Timberridge more. Looked forward to a round on a beautiful fall day, only to be a little frustrated to find the greens recently aerated. A note in the pros hop prior to paying would be helpful. As well , with the sun shinning lack of cart service for a cold beverage seemed ro be really lacking. Tee boxes and fairways in good shape, and Course overall played well, minus the frustration of putting on sandpaper greens.
Manager is not very nice.
Courcs was punched and sand
Pretty expensive for the shape of the course
The course was a beautiful layout and the staff were very friendly. However, $78 each PLUS $40 for a cart was a bit much. The greens had just been punched so they didn’t putt very smoothly and the tee boxes we in very rough shape….uneven and rough.
Great course
Love the course but the pace of play was awful because of one group in front of us. We didn’t see the marshal on the front 9 once. We ended up skipping a hole to get ahead of the group as they wouldn’t pay attention and let us play through. It was a twilight round and we wouldn’t have finished otherwise. We later saw the marshal on the back 9 aimlessly driving around skipping holes.. what’s the point. Didn’t drive past us once
Hawk Ridge
I have played this course many times and it was up to snuff. What I did not like was the website advertises tee times not really telling you this is through Golf Now with its attendant cancellation call in time to change things, Or that the "Great Deal" times are not changeable or refundable. In fairness after a considerable amount of time on the phone Gold Now came through.
Fabulous Round of Golf
You can't get any better than golfing at Hawk Ridge on a sunny summer afternoon. From the initial greeter to the waitress Samantha serving us a cold beer, it was a perfect golf experience. We'll definitely play this course again!
We will definitely be back!
We’ve played all your courses and love them all. Something for everyone. Pleasant staff, beautiful conditions.
