Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Hawk's Island
About
Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club offers two 18-hole courses and one par-3, executive course. The golf courses are spread across nearly 400 acres of ponds and mature forests. Hawk’s Island is the nine-hole course, situated southeast of the other 36 holes at the club. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some undulation in the large, bent grass greens. The signature hole of the golf course is No. 5, which requires a downward approach shot to a tricky island green that is flanked by bunkers on both sides. The Hawk’s Island Course is ideal for juniors or beginners, but it is also great for golfers who just want a quick but challenging round.

Just OK
But price was right. Rough way to high. Fairways and greens cut nice. Give it a try. Make your own opinion.
Beautiful course
First time playing HawkCreek-Timber and it was awesome. Course Conditions were perfect the greens were well-maintained along with the Tee boxes. Pace of play was rather slow , seemed like members weren’t allowing anyone to play through, oh well! Front 9 was good and the back 9 was uphill and slightly more of a challenge. Nice course
Another good round
Course is always in great shape. Little dry today. Challenging but fun layout. Some narrow some wide open. Good variety.
Rough shape
Owner decided not to cut the grass until last Thursday when he decided to open course. So the ruff had lots of cut grass left, so hard to find golf ball, and hard to hit it when found!
Perfect autumn golf, despite the dampness
A fun and challenging round that was only dampened by some drainage issues making it cart path only for the full round. Beautiful course to play in autumn. Great price. Would highly recommend.
Hawk Ridge Meadow Nest
Course was in good condition . A few greens were in need of repair. ( shaded areas). Speed of greens were good. Good value.
Enjoyable
2 issues
- GN deals only allow 2 or 4 golfers so my group of 3 not allowed?
- Cart, charging $20 per person riding in a cart!! I might as well take 2 carts!! Not acceptable
Great Staff!!!
First time golfing at Hawk Ridge and was not disappointed. Pace of play was as good as it get. We were a foursome that started at 9am and finished by 12:15pm. Even had a 10 minute halfway break for a sandwich, while letting the group behind us play through. Short track but allows for plenty opportunities for Driver club if you can work the ball good. Would definitely come back again soon to take in the fall colours.
Timberridge
I was greeted enthusiastically by Doug who directed me to the pro shop. he explainded the the covid protocols and every interaction from then on was positive we played 18 holes in 3 hrs 5 mins it was a great experience
Nice Layout
Fair course to play . A few smallish greens for quality of course. Could play this course once a week and still find it challenging.
Fantastic course
Just a pleasure to play
Course conditions great
Pace of play good
