Hawk Ridge Golf and Country Club - Hawk's Island
About
Hawk Ridge Golf & Country Club offers two 18-hole courses and one par-3, executive course. The golf courses are spread across nearly 400 acres of ponds and mature forests. Hawk’s Island is the nine-hole course, situated southeast of the other 36 holes at the club. The terrain is mostly flat but there is some undulation in the large, bent grass greens. The signature hole of the golf course is No. 5, which requires a downward approach shot to a tricky island green that is flanked by bunkers on both sides. The Hawk’s Island Course is ideal for juniors or beginners, but it is also great for golfers who just want a quick but challenging round.

Green conditions
Course was in great shape except for the greens. Only 2/18 greens were
playable which makes the round disappointing!
Great potential
Hawk Ridge course has great potential however I recommend calling the course prior to booking. At this time the course has 34 of 36 greens under repair and completely closed. 17 of 18 greens on the Meadow course were out of play today with temporary greens cut into the fairways. Would have been nice to know prior to booking on Golf Now.
Once these greens are back and open I would recommend this course.
Worth the Drive
Have wanted to play this course for a while and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful landscape and scenery and very well manicured. Only negative aspect was that 15 of their greens were under repair which resulted in temporary fairway and approach greens being used. Other than that, an absolutely course to play. Can't wait to play it when the greens are repaired.
wet
the course is wet and they are using temporary greens as the greens are not playable, not worth playing right now
Temporary Greens
Quite disappointed in the round. I paid $8 more by purchasing a hot deal than what the course rate was after 1PM. There was no mention on Golf Now that all the greens were temporary so the course played very easy and short.
Would like to play it again when it is fully functional.
Excellent experience
We had a great day playing the course. Only issue was GolfNow failed to mention that there were a majority of temporary greens. The course was great and the staff were friendly. We will be back when the greens are opened, which looked to be soon.
Hawk ridge timber
Great course, kept in awesome condition! The traps and greens could use a little work but that’s the case at most golf courses
Timber Ridge Course
First time playing this 18. Played Meadows Nest 3 previous rounds. Much more challenging course this timber Ridge! Conditions were ideal for fall golf. Almost perfect weather....some pins placements were US OPEN like lol! Overall was a great day. Marshal Herb helped speed up our round. Hope to play Timber Ridge again before season ends! The staff, from the Pro shop, Cart girl, and the Marshal made the round much more enjoyable....
Starter issue
Starter put us (a couple) with another couple who were new golfers which is fine. They asked to go as a couple as they self professed as being slow. Then we spent the rest of the round letting twosomes play through. Starter needs to put out twosomes or foursomes?
Nice course
Really did love the greens. Even the fairways were very good. The staff where nice aa well
