About
North Granite Ridge Golf Club spans 320 acres of beautiful woodlands in the heart of Muskoka. The layout plays through large boulders and towering trees across dramatic elevation changes provided by granite ridges, hence the name. The greens are undulating and the fairways are quite narrow, demanding both accuracy and skillful course management. It is home to the longest par 5 in Muskoka at 622 yards from the back tees. The challenges of the golf course are complemented by panoramic views that stretch deep into the forest, providing some scenic respite. Opened in 1999, North Granite Ridge Golf Club is fairly new but it has quickly become one of the area's must-play golf courses.

Great course
Course was in excellent shape and scenery was beautiful. Everything is immaculate and fairways greens and tee boxes were all in top notch condition. Challenging layout with narrow fairways and several elevated greens. Would recommend.
Beautiful Course
Loved the course one of the better ones in the area. Some challenges with the mature trees.
Pace of play would be fine if all people played ready ball.
Over all good!
Only hiccup was sanded greens and balls not rolling true until they dried up.
Pace of play could have been a bit better.
Best Course
I have known North Granite since it was a nine hole golf course which is a long time ago.
This is one of the best courses for Muskoka area, if you want a challenge come play it.
I make sure I come every year its worth your while

Arrived Early Treated Very well
Sunday morning family golf so we headed out early to get back to the water. Even though we were early the starter and proshop gave us the nod to play right away. The round was complete in 3.25 hours without seeing the smaller groups ahead and no pressure from behind! The heavy rains have helps the course stay green but it was soggy in places ; that didn’t help to provide any ‘August’ extended ball rolls!! Awesome morning that seemed tropical in Muskoka with a downpour as we rode away from 18 green! Staff deserve mentioning for their sense of humour and welcoming dispositions despite our timing!! Awesome.
2pm tee time
Well I teed off at 2pm
And only got 12 holes in it was 5:45 when I got to the 12th hole
The course was terribly slow
We should have been on the 17th hole by 5:45
I had to leave before starting the 13th hole was extremely disappointed and frustrated
Hopefully you can compensate me for that round, I don’t care if you give me a credit

Pleasant Surprise
A lovely track that is in excellent condition. Beautiful views and lots of flowers dot the course. Well worth a try.
A Good Day
The course was in great condition and the workers were very friendly.
Only issue was a ranger was needed as 2 groups ahead of us were playing as a six. Also the group behind us twice hit onto the green as we were still playing. The 2nd time I raised my voice and gave them my opinion of their actions. Was truly tempted to start an altercation but I was playing with my two sons.
Besides that, it was a good day especially when the deer appeared on the 15th hole.
Great course and excellent condition
Overall, our first visit was great. Very beautiful and picturesque.
I wish there were more food choices since we don’t eat pork at the restaurant.
