Worst course I've ever play $35/9 or
I wish I had taken a picture, but this was simply the worst course I have ever played. The 9 hole course is owned by a resort with many amenities and they simply don't care and let the course go. The bunkers were all overgrown with weeds and were unplayable. Tee boxes, greens, fairways and rough were all in bad shape. They shouldn't even be charging to play this course. There is a secondary championship 18 hole course on the property which is beautiful and is well kept, so they know how to take care of the course. They choose not to. It was my worst golf experience.
Very friendly staff! Difficult to find pro shop as there is no signage from parking lot. The pace of play was very slow and the many bunkers were overgrown but it’s a fun course!
Unmaintained dog patch
Brutal conditions weeds everywhere including bunkers which haven’t been done this year.
Save your money
Fun little 9er
Solo with no one in front, walked in just over an hour.
Fun layout, danger to keep it interesting.
Early season yet maybe, but could use a bit of work on the condition. Especially considering they keep the beautiful Highlands course, but still a good deal and gets the recommendation.
Course needs work!
Sand traps have weeds in them.
Greens need to be better maintained
$20.00 per per person per cart is far too pricey..
Course is scenic and easy to follow, but we all thought it is quite over priced for the condition of course
This course needs work
Greens have dead spots all bunkers with no sand and weeds growing in them.
Deerhurst Lakeside
Starter unfriendly. Course covered in goose poop. The greens were not in very good shape and the bunkers had grass and weeds regrowing in them. Don’t waste your time here.
Good for short game
Courses in good shape. It was very hot and it was disappointing to find out there was no cart but she did show up for the other course and all is well. It’s in great condition and the place was good. Great deal for the money.
Beauty scenery, but badly needs maintenance
Beautiful setting
Fun layout
But course was rough. Bunkers should be removed as no sand in them. First fairway was water logged ( even though it had not rained ). Geese poop totally covering most picturesque hole ( hole 2 )
