Tamarack Ridge Golf Club

I was disappointed, to say the least, to find out that my Golfnow hot deal was actually roughly 8 dollars more per golfer than the course’s regular green fee. I find this rather disturbing as I am a regular Golfnow user and the intent as I understood it for Golfnow is to capitalize on hot deals. I find this completely unacceptable and quite frankly took me rather by surprise. I don’t believe I will be trusting Golfnow as being the ‘hot deal’ it suggests it is. Furthermore you have now lost a regular Golfnow user.

Tamarack is a great deal and a nice course. Some holes are set up to be very difficult, but most golfers will be happy with the diverse hole.

The course allows 5somes to play together which slowed down play and hard to get into a rhythm when you are playing behind 5 not good golfers. Greens are slopped that unless you drain the put you will in all likelihood be further away then when you putted the ball. It was extremely frustrating to chip on and have it roll off. They had no meatless or fish options at the clubhouse. We wont be back.

Tees could have been better.The Fairways were in good shape.The greens were excellent and very fast.A very fair course with a lot of dog legs.It was fun to play.

Decided to quit after 12 holes and almost 4 hours. Had to wait every shot. Not fun

The course has dried up perfectly and the greens are in perfect condition. Pace of play was great one slow group let us play through. Some holes are tighter than others with lots of elevation. You can’t go wrong playing this course for the price. Only negative thing I could say is the price of draft is too high. Give it a try.

Greens are very tough, holes need to be cut better. Short course, can play 18 in 4 hours easily if the pace of play could pick up. Overall great course for what you pay.

Tamarack attracts a wide variety of golfers from some low handicappers to complete duffers. The course is in good shape,layout is fine,but the biggest issue I have is playing the course in less than 5 hours. Tamarack does not provide course rangers and slow play takes a terrible toll on even the best of us. All course managers should be aware that rangers provide a service to us all and should be there to monitor slow play and do something about it. The price here is what draws many,I suspect,but beware on sunny days and weekends....I for one, will not be back.

Nice... should advise twosomes/threesomes/foursomes to let singles play through. Ball washers need to have water and soup.

I was very disappointed, I started playing alone and played at a regular pace, after 5 holes I came upon a tee backed up with a twosome and 4 some. So I just waited and within 10 minutes I could tee off, I then followed the foursome taking their sweet time, I noticed the 2 some had already tee off the next tee while the 4 some continued to the green. As I waited I see the 2some complete their green , finally the group in front of me finished and move. I completed the hole and then sat waiting for the group after about another 10 minutes away they going. The next hole was the same. The eighth tee is beside the club house and I watched 2 from the group go into the clubhouse, so I finish the hole and proceeded to the tee and I was astonished when I was told that they were members and that I could wait until the friends returned. I informed them that the cards state to let faster players through especially while they were waiting. I then decided that I had had enough and returned my clubs to the car and then headed to the pro shop. I explained the situation as to the rude members and said I was leaving, and the response I received was to have a good day.

I am sorry, but 1 hour to play 2 holes is crazy, won't go there again.

This was the first time golfing here, the course was in good shape and very picturesque. A lot of challenging holes. The only thing that we didn't like was the extremely slow play. The course has tee times too close to each other. Had to wait between 5 and 10 min each tee off, and in the fairways to greens as well. Took 5hrs and 25 mins to play this course. Slow!!!!

Fairways greens and bunkers are in good shape but tee blocks need some work. Greens are very difficult. Three holes are very challenging. Definitely a good value .

Absolutely beautiful course on a hilly layout which feels like a steel every time I play there! Terrific and friendly staff too!

Course a bit dry but it made my shots go farther. Great day. Busy, but finished under 4 hours.
