5.25 hours to play
Started early then hit a wall waited on every hole for the two groups in front to move on. At one point there was 4 groups waiting on a par 3. No rangers in sight.
Need to get some additional help to keep things moving.
Hard as a rock
With all the rain we have had over the season I could not believe how dried out tee boxes areas around greens were. Forget plastic tees and even breaking wood one trying to get in the ground the whole place was rock hard an worker joining are twosome for his free round was ok but geese man this place ain't the old course Scotland like you talked up like it was. Lol no rush to go back for sure
Green not fast
The ranking of this course with Scoregolf jumped from 59 to 32. I was wondering what have changed to bring this big raise. Actually there is nothing. The club house was the same. the course condition is slightly worse on the day I play: Green was super fast and firm when I played a couple of years ago. That's no longer the case, the green speed is a bit faster than average. The sand in bunkers is abundant, but it's not white, rather dark sand.
Links in SW Ontario
Great track in great condition. Would have been nice to have 1/2 way hut open. Thirsty!
a good challenging links course
nice links course with lots of traps, was busy but pace was steady , challenging but fair .
Fantastic golf experience
Great value for a great golf course. It was a little windy with sun shining the day we played and the course played exactly what you would expect a links course to play. It was firm and fast (even though it rained the day before) and you played the shot required regardless of how far you were away. Highly recommend playing Tarandowah for a totally different golfing experience in Ontario.
Old style links course, just like Scotland. Plays hard in the wind.
Played hard with the wind today. Excellent round with great players.
Tarandowah
Great course. Wonderful conditions. Slow pace of play.
Getting a little expensive.
Golf Course is in A+ Condition… but
No amenities at this golf course, golf shop staff is friendly and helpful, on course service is very friendly. Golf course is in great condition, tee decks are 5star.
No longer a hidden gem, Tarandoah needs some/any amenities to make the drive worthwhile.
Great
Excellent…. Will come back
It can be windy out there
I would love to play here again
Nice links course
