Situated just 15 minutes from Ottawa's west end, Richmond Centennial Golf Club is routed through mature woodlands, making it an especially scenic course to visit in the fall. The par-67 course is gentle enough for beginners and juniors, which makes it a great option for families. The golf course originally opened with only one nine in 1967. The front nine has remained largely unaltered over the years, but the back nine that was added later enhanced the course with several challenging elements. The contrast between the player-friendly front nine and the tougher back nine make for an interesting round. Richmond Centennial Golf Club is mostly flat though you will come across a few subtle but tricky slopes. There are also a few water hazards and strategically placed sand traps to watch out for.

Wonderful Experience
From the paying for the outing to the return of the cart it’ was truly enjoyable
Brought me teenage grandchildren for a first time (3 times) experience on a golf course and each of the three outings was perfect
Can’t say how appreciative I am about the whole welcoming experience

Hot Round in August
We always enjoy golfing at Richmond and the management continues to make improvements and alterations for the betterment of the course. The greens are in excellent condition and although the weather conditions have been quite dry, they are still receptive to holding pitch shots. The fairways were also in good condition and appeared to well maintained.
Grand Dad and Grandson
We played 9 holes. My 10 year old grandson enjoyed his best ever game. I think what made the game enjoyable was the length of the holes. Not too long and not too short. Wide fairways and few woods were helpful. An enjoyable morning.
Fun course with some interesting challenges
The staff are amazing, very friendly and accommodating.
I enjoy playing the Back 9 because of some interesting challenges and layouts, however the bugs in that zone are killer. Playing the Front 9 is a little scary, because you seem to be shooting at people who are on other fairways. It would be advisable to plant some trees/bushes and put up nets until they grow up.
The greens are quite variable, some fast, some slow but all seem to have odd bumps that make it a little frustrating.
Good course
Great course for amateur golfers. A couple of challenging holes. Overall it’s a great course for the price of a fun day of golf.
I like it cuz it's quirky
If you are looking for a low-key, quirky course that is fun and fair to play, this will fit the bill. If you are looking for a top-end golf course you will be disappointed.

16 th hole
The signs need to be improved for hole 16.. it took us a while to find the tee boxes.

Average course with only a few traps but rough fairways.

Winding course. Tee boxes adequate. Greens in great shape.
