I know what I get when playing the challenge course
Great beginner to weekend warrior course. Very little danger areas.
The ongoing downfall of the challenge course is the probably the reason it’s so inexpensive. Dry fairways. Hard as rock ball rolls forever. Bunkers are always a free lift out of again hard a rock.
But if it saves me $30-$40 bucks per round I hope they never water it lol.
Challenging putts with very fast greens
The fairways are generous but smallish fast greens need a high approach to prevent rolling off the green. The visible long grass and flora are beautiful to see but can hide balls very well. I was pleased to play this course.
Too many close calls
Nice course, can beat the price, kind staff and upkeep - but had too many balls come through the legs. Not just on the green, but teeing off. Some holes have 18 players side by side within 75 yards, putting you on notice for a lump to the head.
Will I golf the challenge course again. Yes, but not with CHILDREN. Too much of a risk.
Unreasonable staff member forcing groups to play faster (for no reason)!
Arrived at the location and there was plenty of parking for guests. Front desk and superintendent David Ash (sitting by Hole 1) were friendly.
Golfed at an above average pace:
Hole 9 - 1 hour 35 mins (from start)
Hole 15 - 2 hours 50 mins (from start)
Hole 18 - 3 hours 30 mins (from start)
There was a larger staff member (didn't get his name) driving around rushing our group to golf faster, when the group after us was 2 holes behind... He said it didn't matter that there were no people behind us, and said we needed to pick up the pace or he would make us skip ahead. He came around around 4-5 times after the 9th hole, when no one was ahead or behind us. Ruined the experience for our entire party.
Ended finishing 18 holes in 3.5 hours (not because of the staff member, but at our own pace). Again, no one was in sight ahead or behind.
Our long weekend golf experience was soured by this experience.
Would not recommend this course even at the cheaper price. Have peace of mind and play somewhere else!!!
Perfect Day, Perfect Course, Perfect Group
I've player here before and love the course. Today was just perfect. Pace of play was perfect and I somehow got lucky as a single player grouped with 3 other guys that played at the same level. Awesome time and weather was perfect. Can't say much more other than thank you!
First Time Challenger of the Challenge Course
What you expect out of a forty five dollar tee time with cart included this no matter; will definitely near be the greatest forty five you could make. For my first time the pace was kind of slow but it was a packed Sunday, so take that with a grain of salt.
Overall a beautiful sight compared to city courses there isnt a comparison, worth the 30-35 min drive.
A++++ ps. watch out for the tall grass

Nice. Executive course. Greens well kept. Finished in less than 4 hours on a Saturday.
