kind of worth the money
To get a round including cart for $40 last minute albeit measuring between 4 to 5000 yards is definitely a deal however...the course has not changed or been updated in probably 35 years...greens and fairways in acceptable condition but the bunkers are terrible, compacted mud with water in some even though there hadn't been any rain, like playing off a muddy playground surface.
This course is a cash cow for Club Link, with the current golf boom they see no need to make any improvements to a course that definitely needs them.
No way to cancel or modify within less than 48 hrs
I had a small accident 2 days prior to the booked tee-time. I hurt my back and I wasn't even able to walk properly so I wanted to cancel or move the tee-time but there's no way to do so once your tee-time is within 48 hrs regardless of you effort. I gave up and ended up wasting money.
the greens where freshly aerated
The greens where freshly aerated and not fun to play on. Also there was a lot of debris on the greens. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time.
Nice course and moderately challenging for the first time.
The course was fun, but did not have a good time playing today. The two other people I was paired with were rude, ignorant and had no golf etiquette whatsoever. The daughter was not so bad, but the father (who knew how to play quite well for a senior) did not either understand golf etiquette or didn't want to bother with it. The pair would always on every hole would jump up first to tee off, no matter how they scored. Additionally, i would be putting and they leave to go to the next hole and just leave me there and they would be talking to each other while I was teeing off or putting. It did not matter. Almost like I was not even there. I played golf a lot over the years and these two, especially the father, were the rudest and most selfish people I have eve played with. But I played along and i was mannerly and pretended i was enjoying myself. Why make it worst for all of us. They should have signs up about etiquette.
Best deal in the area!
Can't beat the price and the challenge course is forgiving enough to help practice and boost your ego a little!
Beginner’s course
Perfect weather, course is set up well. There’s issues with pace of play; beginners not understanding proper golf etiquette (let faster players play through). Also people smoking weed.
Fun course
If your above average there is enough to make the course a challenge. If you are average to below average it’s challenging and forgiving enough to improve your game and have fun.
Greens too small
The greens are way too small on the challenge course. Too dry.
