Needs some love and care

This course is in need of some TLC. Tee boxes are a mess and uneven. Greens are beat up. Fairways are okay, but patchy in spots. This course used to be in better shape and is sadly worn out.

I’m sure ClubLink has this on the docket for redevelopment but investing a few dollars into the course to restore tee boxes, greens, and bunkers would go a long way.

Some value here.

Pretty good par 70 track. Some value here. They really just need to take care of the greens better. And pace was pretty slow. Probably due to over booking.

Challenge course

Another great day at Rolling Hills. The fairways are dry so you can expect some extra distance off the tee when the ball hits the ground. (I drove the green on the 8th hole). The bunkers are still in need of some work. The greens are in good shape. Pace on the front nine was good but when we got to the 11th hole there was a group on the green, a group on deck, the group in front of us. What happened is a mystery.

Pace of play not bad, but the course conditions are not the best. Dryer then the Sahara, unable to cut into the ground without getting hurt, felt like concrete

I know what I get when playing the challenge course

Great beginner to weekend warrior course. Very little danger areas.

The ongoing downfall of the challenge course is the probably the reason it’s so inexpensive. Dry fairways. Hard as rock ball rolls forever. Bunkers are always a free lift out of again hard a rock.

But if it saves me $30-$40 bucks per round I hope they never water it lol.
