Nice course with great value.
This course was fairly nice, maintained well and had great value. For $55 we managed to play a full 18 and had a cart. The only thing I disliked about the course was how close the majority of the holes were to each other. However, I would definitely come back.
A very average experience
Course was very flat and boring. There were was plenty of room for slivrs and hooks.
Challenging course for all skill levels
I found the course well maintained. All skill levels will find something to like at this course. Wide open greens allow you to use your driver often.
poor facility, poor management, short distance especially in Par 3 holes
I played in course "challenge", but i feel no challenge in the course, but to find hole one by one is really a "challenge", & overall facility is poor(there is no club washing & show washing facility), no direction sign for different course.
Decent course for the price
For the price, this course is pretty good. It is very short, 3 reachable par 4s and short par 5s. It's still a fun course to play however, just don't expect too much. The greens are pretty quick but the overall condition of the course is 6/10.
Rolling Hills a Fail
Will not play again. Poorly kept, closely crossover fairways, impolite staff.
Fun day
This is a really busy club link golf course! Will take you more than 5 hrs to finish a game on a very easy golf course!
Great for beginners to have fun! Also great for experienced players to improve their short game!
Would get 5 star rating
Great course, nice pace. Would get a 5 star rating if we got to see the beer girl. Went whole round not seeing her once. Even after told by the marshall multiple times that she was on her way.
Wait times were horrendous.
we were at the T box, ready to T off, 10 mins. ahead of our time. The Marshal told us that we were going nowhere any time soon. We waited 40 Mins. before teeing off.
When asked what the reason was, we were told that late comers were to blame. That was an unacceptable reason. in fact that should not be a reason, because "Late comers", should be told to wait till all "on timers", had tee'd off.
My Worst Golf Experience
In addition to the course being in such poor shape, my golf partner was hit in the ribs by a golf ball hit by the group behind us. Twice before that they almost hit us and the third time it did.
Extremely heated arguments then took place between our group and the group that hit the ball when we were still on the green. We called the clubhouse for a Marshall. When he arrived he explained there was nothing he could do because it was an accident. We wanted them removed from the course! Our round after that was completely ruined and the Marshall offered us nothing to make us feel better.
In conclusion, I will NEVER play that course again! It's poorly maintained and even more poorly managed. I'm a 10 handicap who plays twice a week with my friends for the past 15 yrs and never experienced anything like that.
GolfNow do yourself a favor and drop this course of your list, it really is a joke!
one of the few courses still open this time around
I'm just happy that it's still open at this time of the year.bring yellow balls as theres snow coverage.
This course is goof for the value for practice.
Condition is OK for practise. Good location and friendly staffs.
Avoid if looking for a full size course
Booked this course as it was a par 70 but this has got to be the shortest par 70 in the GTA. I would consider this course to be a long executive course. And as such is only worth executive prices.
Price is OK but easy course and consequently lots of beginners.
Biggest problem with course is not enough room between tees. In once case I think 3 tees are within 30 yards of each other. Again lots of beginners as course is relatively short so pace of play could be better.
Staff is friendly however and price reasonable. Course condition I would rate as average.
Good value for money
The Challenge is a shorter length course, but still offers a good mix of long and short yardarges. For the price you can't go wrong.
