Rolling Hills Golf Club - Challenge

Good course to take a beginner. Greens hard as concrete.

Great course to work on short game. Course was in great conditions, smaller greens made for working on short game. Would play again for sure !!!

The course was is great condition and the greens were fast.

If you are a new/young golfer trying to raise your game... this is a great course. It's short, forgiving, and fairly easy for not so good players.

Course was in good shape and challenging to a weekend golfer. Would definitely go back!

I've played the Challenge course many times over the years and have always had a good experience. Played the course for the first time this season and was pleased with the conditions overall. It was a little busy being a Saturday, but I was paired up with a threesome and the overall pace was pretty good with only short times spent waiting on a few of the holes.

GREAT GOLF COURSE FOR WALKING IT IS RELATIVELY FLAT

Good for beginner golf, but not necessarily an attractive course. In rough shape, especially sand traps some of which double as water hazards, hopefully only temporarily due to the early season.
May look better once trees fill in and after a bit of greeen and sand trap maintenance.
On the positive, good pace of play, and friendly.

Great course for beginners and intermediate players. The course is really forgiving with it's par 4s and 5s. I would bring more of my friends here.

This course is not much of a "challenge" despite the name. Wide fairways, very few traps. Fairways and greens are in good shape though considering the amount of traffic it gets.

Staffs are very friendly and the course is well maintained.

I like the couresof par 3, 4, 5 which is good for most players.

Nothing special about this course. Very over-priced even with the Golfnow discount. A good course for new golfers as the fairways are quite wide and the holes are short.. Pace of play was slow. A 10 minute wait at each tee. Power carts are smelly do not run smoothly. Bunkers were all full of water and had to use a ball retriever. Actually found 4 other balls in one bunker.

Nothing special about this course. It good for a new golfer as the fairways are open. Pace of play can be slow at times.

This is nice short course with wide, flat and hard fairways.
Greens are fast and pin placement are very close to front or back of greens that putting made difficult.
Could be better play after a bit of rain to soften fairways and slower greens. Not much water hazards to deal with. Sand traps are playable condition (soft sand).Anyone beginners or Intermediate players who want the taste of birdies should play this course.( We got some birdies that day and enjoyed a lot)

Good if you are not a long hitter and/or just starting while looking for more than a par 3 course as the course plays very short, about 4500 yards.

Overall,my friends and myself are happy & enjoy. Some holes the signs was not clear,the instructions were confused.

On one hand, this was a pretty easy course to play as there was only a couple of water hazards and the fairways were so wide that it was almost impossible to lose a ball either left or right (although I did manage to lose one). On the other hand, the greens were pretty tough. I like to think I'm a pretty good putter but these greens gave me fits.
Play was slow. We always had at least one two-some waiting to play the next hole ahead of us - sometimes two twosome's were waiting to play ahead of us.
I prefer a faster, steadier pace of play and hate to wait for long periods for the fairway to clear. But this couldn't be helped.

Enjoyed the golf course, especially with the rate that we paid. The golf pro shop was very helpful. We did not bring a driver and wanted to rent one.the shp provided as one for fee.

I am a pretty bad golfer, but managed two birdies, which I was pleased with. We had a great experience. No one pushing us and we did not have to wait at all. Course was in great shape and staff were polite and friendly. Really, nothing to complain about. I would return.
