Average course - a bit overpriced!
Overall, not a bad course… except the sand traps appear to be left to revert back to nature… and the cost of a power cart was criminal ($52 for 2 in a cart is robbery!).
Unfortunately, the foursome in front of us played slowly (hitting many mulligans) and had an immature player in the group that almost started a fight with one of our foursome.
I won’t be rushing back any time soon…
Boring and repetitive
Having played the Classic course 5 times, I decided to try out the longer Challenge course. That was a mistake and will not be playing it again.
The condition of the course is the same as the Classic (mostly well maintained) and the same “sand traps” *read hard dirt pits*. Not the greatest thing but value for money is there.
What the course doesn’t offer is any real challenge apart from being a long course. The holes are mirrored so you only really need to play 9, or even 4.5 to get a feel of what the rest of the course is going to be like.
Boring, predictable, slow. Sticking with playing the Classic at Rolling Hills.
Bad layout and crowded
If the terrible conditions of greens, fairways and bunkers wasn’t bad enough the lay out will drive you crazy. They have stuffed too many fairways in too small a space. Holes are often side by side with such narrow fairways it’s easy to hit into the wrong one. And if you use any golf apps they will get totally confused as to which hole you are on.
Not worth the money.
Challenge course.
Nice Course although the sand bunkers are as hard as a rock . Greens look like they need more love as well. The people at the front desk charge a golf cart per person therefore double the price 46 dollars for a cart is rather ridiculous . Also there is no junior rates and they do not take native exemption cards for tax purposes.
Marshal was extremely rude
We were two and joined with other two, we were told to hurry from hole 3. And then again and again. We weren’t sure how fast we had to play, we played for 4 hours and I still don’t understand why marshal was yelling at us for?
