Good course, just a little overpriced
I like the course but the price is a little steep at over $100 with a cart. 4.25 hours for a three ball. A little slow
Great Track. Very forgiving.
May feel a bit busy and slow at times but conditions were great and finished round in good time. Decent challenge for any skill level, very forgiving. Used my 3 wood all day and avoided losing a ball while scoring an 83. Found the putting conditions great besides the few holes with leaves on it (which considering morning round and it wasn't leaf-blowed quite odd, but it was weekday and saw a kid tending and cleaning bushes around the holes). Overall 7.7/10
50/50 Experience
The clubhouse staff was fantastic and the course is maintained to a good standard. HOWEVER, the Marshall on the first hole the day I played was extremely rude and had zero empathy or care for the players on the course. There was a debate if my group was eligible to play based on our attire when we were in suitable GOLF attire. The clubhouse and manager approved us to proceed with our round but the Marshall was adamant on not allowing us to play even though the clubhouse and manager approved it 5 times over the radio / walkie talkie. This is the first time ever I had an experience like this at rolling hills or any golf course for that matter and on many occasions I have seen other players dress in basketball attire, regular day clothes, etc. and they are allowed onto the course? This was an eye opening experience and has made me question the professionalism, staff communication, and if I would ever want to book a tee time here again. One bad apple seems to be able to ruin it for many, real quick.
Marshall
The speed of play is very slow and there are no marshalls on the fairways yo control or make faster goursomes pass the slower ones.
Good and bad
Good : Course is in great shape and plays well . Some real fun holes and challenging.
Bad ; not sure if this course is aware of the concept of pace of play … literally every hole after the 5th hole the waiting started. This waiting between holes got progressively worse every hole till the end . When I say waiting I mean showing up at the next hole and there a 4some waiting for the 4some in front of them to go .. this resulted in sitting around for at least 5 to 10 minutes per hole creating an overall very poor experience not to mention frustration . End of the day it was a decent course ruined with poor course management .
Why would you book a full day with 4somes walking and with 4somes in carts behind them .. make everyone take a cart and problem is lessened by a country mile . And speaking of carts .. first having to wait for a cart is a problem, then having a cart with no gps , USB port , ball washer of club washer is also a bit sad considering other local courses for less money have better cart's ( electric for example?)
