Wardsville Golf Club - Simon

This course is an hour's drive from London where we reside. We play this course several times through the season. The carts are in decnet shape. The fairways and greens are always in good condition, regardless of the weather. It is good value for the money. Each 9 has a water carry incorporated into a fun and varied layout.

Played Alvin and Theodore. Both courses were in great shape. Beer and a dog on the patio after. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The course was in excellent condition with the exception of the greens which were slow and shaggy. The conditions of the greens may be a result of the Covid shutdown. This was the first day open since being shut down for a month. I have played this course many times. All three 9s have a fun layout and are in good condition.

It's early in the season so the fairways were a little sparse and the greens a little shaggy. We rode and there were no covid dividers in the cart. The pro shop said they would put one in or for $4 I could ride separately. My experience with this course is that the single rider charge varies depending on how busy the course is. This course has a fun and interesting layout and is generally in good condition.

Aeration on Simon greens disappointing but to keep course as good as it's been you do what you gotta do

Found this course to be challenging and in good shape but upon checking in I was told because I booked with Golf Now...the only people making any money was Golf Now...It did not affect me other than I felt the staff thought I cheated them because I used Golf Now to book my round. I still had a good time.

We showed up early for our tee time as rain was expected in the afternoon hoping to maybe get off one of the 3 nines a bit early. It was a very hot day and the course steady but not busy. Basically we were told that since we were ‘Golfnow’ no, you will have to wait for your tee time, Huh. So, because we found a deal and booked over a week ago, we weren’t getting any consideration. How does that figure? Course is nice and was in good shape however. So not all bad; just kind of new to that attitude.

Course is in great shape! Some very interesting holes, you can either lay up or take the risk!

This course is amazing it’s fun and challenging with nothing ridiculous, I can’t wait to play again. who doesn’t love 27 holes of gorgeous greens and fairways.

The club house staff were friendly and helpful. Great price on golf and in the pro shop. 10/10 for sure
