About
Opened in 1923, Ridgetown Golf & Curling Club has been a longtime fixture for an enjoyable and affordable round of golf in Chatham-Kent, which has been called the "friendliest town in Ontario." The 18-hole golf course stretches across a lush, rolling landscape that is dotted with trees and ponds. The layout features small, impeccably manicured greens and rolling, generous fairways that are player-friendly. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are some strategically placed bunkers throughout, but overall the golf course appeals to players of any skill level. In addition to the course, Ridgetown Golf & Curling Club also offers a driving range, two practice holes, and a putting green for golfers to use.

Cutters were not considerate when they were close to us while we were hitting. 9

Super slow greens. Longish Fairways. Super slow behind the only 4 some on the course. Postage stamp greens make it challenging
Course to myself
November golf sub 10-degrees so just the die Garda out. Only a handful of golfers so could play at proper pace. Nice lush fairways. Yardage on scorecard seems a bit exaggerated by 20-30 yards on the par 4’s and 5’s.
Tiny greens but excellent shape and good undulation for fun puts.
Fall golfing
No tee blocks, leaves made ball sight difficult, approached on the course by two men who said they were members they were incredibly rude for no reason. Otherwise was as expected.
Beautiful Fall Day
My son and I enjoyed our day of golf. The course was still in good shape overall. The only unfortunate thing was that there were a couple of holes where we thought we made good shots, however, we had to contend with trying to find our golf balls in amongst the leaves. This slowed our play down at times. Hey who’s complaining when it’s 20 Celsius and we are still golfing on November 9th in Ontario!
Good course
I'm still learning to play golf and this course was great for that, the holes where challenging but open enough that mistakes where not catastrophic.

Always play this course a few times a year.Nice walkable
course that has nice fairways and small challenging greens.It is a nice course.I will always get to Ridgetown a few times a year.
What’s a little wind ?
I was courteously greeted , and as a single player ,was invited to start ahead of my tee time by a group on the first tee . Again on the 5th tee , a foursome asked if I wanted to play through ! Caught up with another group on the 15th , and gladly followed them to the clubhouse. Total time was just over 2 hours , and minutes before the rain arrived . A great day !
Worth the Drive
This was the second time playing this course, we really liked the course the first time we played it 2 weeks earlier. We are from London and it was worth the drive. The course did not disappoint. I could go into details, but I think you should check it out yourself.
