Windermere Golf & Country Club

I thought this course was excellent! Layout was basic at times but some gorgeous holes with elevation changes. Course has very small greens to shoot for so short irons must be on point! Greens played very slow despite being 28 degrees during the afternoon. I’ll definitely come back and give it another go!

Lovely course in immaculate shape considering the dry and hot conditions. Haven't seen a greener course this summer. If you can get a deal it is worth the cost, or just go after 2pm. No problems with bugs during our beginning of August tee-off. Some golfers need to replace their divots though. Overall a great time.

It’s a nice course well maintained sure. But if you’re not a member prepare to be a second class golfer. The group ahead of me was playing 5 people five balls. When I asked the drink cart if this was normal the first question she asked me was am I a member... do members have extra rights to hold up the course and play players - 5 balls???

Booked on golf now was told it would have a cart. Arrived no cart, Golf now was a pain to deal with.

In short it’s a good track sure, but the service is subpar, gold now is a pain to work with and I’d in future play another course where you are treated respectfully, the game is respected, and not through golf now.

Course in great condition.. good layout.. would definitely play there again If in the area!

Beautiful day playing this very picturesque course.

Only bad thing was the golf cart. Old mouldy seats

need recovering or replacing.

Outstanding course, staff are incredibly friendly, very scenic and tough greens!

This was our first time playing this track. It was in pristine condition. Beautifully manicured with nicely kept flower beds throughout. I played from the tips and still found the course not that long. There are a couple of reachable par fives and a couple of drivable par 4,s. love the 18 th hole...only 252 from the blues but still a nice challenge. Staff were super friendly. We would return to this course.

I don't golf enough to warrant a membership with Golf Now and have the "worry free" option when "life happens". Due to an emergency, I had to cancel my round and eat the cost without being able to rain check at the course. Not going to use this service again...Under Par was understanding and totally refunded on another round that was scheduled for the following day.

Pace of play was not well, course was way overbooked. No player assistants ensuring people were keeping up pace

Nice course not a long course hit good shots and u can be rewarded .The greens are small and u have too be on the right side of hole with some of the pin placements. Greens were top dressed with sand but still rolled nice only one bad green.Guys I golfed with were super nice very enjoyable round and would diff play this track again.

Good course to play. and in real good shape. Some nice scenic holes. Course nicer then pictures on website..

Got a hot deal and decided to try it out - $70 a person with a cart. Price was fair although I would not recommend paying full fare after experiencing. Overall an average course with cool historical significance but there were several short par 4s that are reachable from the tee. This caused some slow downs while we waited for the groups ahead to clear. Only 1 par 5 on each 9 didn’t offer much variety. However, the course was in good shape, and the greens were pretty small so very challenging. Might play again if I’m in the area and the rate was favourable.
