Biloxi/Charleston at River Plantation Country Club

Greens roll good coming out of aeration, fairways are good and tight in places, bunkers are hardpan from not being raked. Wear a belt b/c staff is strict to shirt being tucked in.

Played the Augusta 9 and the Charleston 9. The Augusta 9 was in perfect condition but the Charleston 9 needs some attention. I was told that the Biloxi 9 is as good as the Augusta 9 which would make an almost perfect course. I was surprised on how good the condition of the Augusta 9 is, the last time I played here was some yeas ago and it was terrible. My hat is off to maintenance crew, I will be back to check on the Biloxi 9!

Great fairways and greens. Best ball with my wife for a -1 on tha Augusta front.

The staff is very friendly. They all seem to work hard to get you started so you can have a round with no delays.

I was able to book a great price. I have played this course a few times. In a old subdivision, and for the money, the course is great for the price. Need to do some more brush clearing, and the bunkers need lots more sand. Overall, a $30 and under kind of course.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful course, very nice staff.

Wasn't happy with the fact we had to play the same 9 twice. Drive 30 miles one way to find out their was a large tourney going on & the tell you upon arrival. It certainly wasn't worth $42 to play the same nine twice. $ not a problem but their were better choices some even more $ and closer. Golf now or the course should put up a disclaimer letting people know of what they are in for. 2 people out of 4 showed up because we called to let them know before they arrived and decided not to play. And it was my b-day.

We played on Saturday and Sunday alos. They hve 3- 9 hole courses and we enjoyed playing. Although hot day we had cold towels and water on the way.

Fairways nice and green well kept. Friendly folks at the 19th hole- bar.

Have played nicer courses, but never for this cheap. Greens were fast and true. Fairways were also in great shape. Wish they had a beverage cart, but that wouldn't stop me from going back. Felt the course was just challenging enough to test my skills, while not making me mad by destroying my handicap.

Course was in excellent shape for the heat and lack of rain we have been getting. We were just a twosome and no marshal to help get us thru the slow groups but finally did on back nine. Not the course's fault. We played Biloxi to Charleston as a large group of members tee'd off Augusta but for the Golf Now rate is was an excellent bargain. The carts were practically new and the course was well marked.

This 40+ year old course is fabulous to play. Lots of challenging holes where you have to place each shot.

Great course for the money. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.

Very nice course and pretty easy for the average golfer to post a good score on...

Course is a mature course that has a nice lay out. Greens were amazing and rolling. Maintenance on the course was ok but wasn't worth $70. I play golf at least 2 times a week and I can think of 3 courses that are around the $50 mark that would best the course anyday.

Excellent course, I only wish they came up on Golf Now more often. amazing greens superfast.

As a guest I was treated superbly by everyone I encountered, from staff to members. I was made to feel right at home and will be going back to play again.

This course doesn't have a lot of "wow" factor, but it is a good course at a good price. The layout is pretty traditional here and won't have you reaching for the camera, but it is a good layout. The conditions were good on all sides. The course is also not terribly difficult, so it is good for all skill levels Good choice for a group that has a mix of handicaps and just want to have fun.

My wife and I played on a lovely afternoon for mid-February. The course was in good shape despite recent rain and it being in the middle of the winter. We enjoyed playing without being pushed and had to let only a single play through. People were very friendly and the facilities while being somewhat dated were well maintained. We found the practice range was a little rough with poor grass, but was happy to find the course well maintained with good greens and nice fairways. We envisioned that the course probably looks more appealing once the grass greens up and flowers bloom with warmer weather. We will definitiely come back to play River Plantation in the future. The club is convenient to where we live, so we may consider a membership

I played River Plantation on an overcast January day with my Mother and another Golfnow player but you would have thought it was April!! We were able to play all three 9's (they didn't charge us for the extra 9!) and found them all to be in great shape for this time of year. Aside from the course being a little wet from some rain the day before, the fairways were in good condition with a nice layer of grass. The greens were in very good shape for the most part and played very fast. I found the grill to serve a tasty sandwich and have a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a midlevel course and especially for the golfnow hot deal price...it's a great value!
