Silver Brooke Golf Club
About
Located in Lisle just north of Toronto, Silver Brooke Golf Club is carved out of forests of maples, birches, and pines. The front nine is more heavily wooded than the back nine, which feature more traditional links-style holes. The golf course’s scenic landscape is seeded with blue grass and fescue that nicely contrasts with the white sand bunkers throughout. There are tight fairways and numerous water hazards including several narrow ponds that make accuracy a necessity. Golfers are quickly introduced to the challenges of Silver Brooke Golf Club with a par-5 that seems short but features a tricky narrow fairway, a trap 225 yards out on the right, and an out-of-bounds on the left.

Rude Marshaller
The course is great but the Marshaller / Cart Clean Up Man (Older guy with moustache) was super rude and not friendly at all. Maybe his dog just died but he needs to be more friendly. He seemed miserable and upset that I was there to golf on “his” course! Otherwise, clubhouse female staff were nice. Course in Great Condition! Good value for the money. Power Carts are $36! So that’s expensive compared to most courses but don’t be lazy and walk! Long walk though.
Staff were very friendly, course was in great shape, the front 9 was spectacular. Only downside was it took almost 5 hours to play 18 holes
Good course for the longer hitters but still a great variety of holes. Was very windy made it a nice challenge. Greens are a good speed and rolled well and were a good size. Great course for the price! Well worth a try for anyone who hasn’t played
5 somes
Not a bad layout, good course conditions all ruined by undisciplined and unenforced play. First time I saw 2 5somes , 1 directly ahead of us. Made it for a 5hr round. Marshal drove by numerous times doing nothing about it.
Our next round will be on a course where they keep groups of 4 at the most.
When asked about free range balls on our pass got "not doing it anymore" line. Got them eventually after haggling.
Not too friendly.
Absurdly treated. Will never go back.
The course conditions were reasonable but as for the staff, they could not have been more rude. One of the workers (who clearly had nothing better to do) had the gall to approach our group and accuse us of mistreating the golf carts because we were parking in a spot we were not aware was somewhere you are not supposed to park the cart. This encounter was far from civil as this staff member used profanity towards us in a VERY aggressive manner and on top of that even went so far as to drive his golf cart over one of our group members clubs and said he did it because we mistreated the carts. They refused to pay for the club and threatened to call the cops because we requested compensation for said club. I will absolutely NEVER recommend this course to anyone and i sincerely hope they hire some people who know how to approach another human with a level-head and some civility. Absolutely ridiculous.
Watch out for the taxes and cart fees
A $37 golf now walking quickly round adds up to $62 with cart and taxes, better courses out there like batteaux for that money. Slow pace usually too, conditions are just ok. Some strange holes..
Well maintained and fun course
Great value course.
Well maintained and fun course, rate of play was the only issue I had but I would definitely go back!
Bindtech
Always like playing here. One issue today.. when I prepared to tee off starter told me my tee time had been changed.. Had golf now reservation.. now I don't mind changes but the fact I was not informed ahead of time did not sit well with me. They assumed I was good do with the change. Secondly I am of the belief that if my tee time is changed it should be for an earlier time not later.. will play here again.
price was right
My buddies and I were in a scramble to find a course to play because of a mix up with dates for another course we were supposed to play. we found this one for $30 so we went. the conditions of thwre course were really good. I was surprised that the bunkers were raked and somewhat soft. it was a great day golfing at Silverbrook.
