Greens are in terrible conditions, not sure why they would let you book for 18 holes when there is not enough time to complete due to daylight conditions
Poor greens
Greens had a lot of what I believe is from winter damage and front nine greens were very poor . Back nine greens not as much. Maintenance this year is poor

Don’t waste your money
Tee boxes are the grass length the rough should be. The rough is stupid long. If you miss the 25 yard wide fairway by one yard, your ball is gone. Greens are in terrible shape. Too many greens are raised and rounded, and spotty. If you like golf, don’t play there!

Great course, rough greens, great bang for your buck!
The greens were a little rough (dried out) but the rest of the course was really good! The pace of play was slower than I've played in a long time but this may have been due to how busy it was. Walking still ended up having to wait for the groups in front of us meaning we could only complete 11 of our 18 scheduled due to time constraints.

Enjoyable day of golfing
Meadowlands is a pretty golf course with wide open fairways. The greens suffered some winter damage but seem to be recovering.. The first cut could be a little shorter. Sometimes difficult to finds balls unless you almost drove the cart over the ball. The green fees were only $60 for 2 golfers including cart.

Course in great shape but greens have a lot of winter kill but didn’t affect the putting to much

Nice Way To End The Covid Lockdown
I have been temporarily on lay off for the last 7 weeks and go back to work on Monday. So it was a nice afternoon with a buddy to get outside and do something together.
The weather was perfect and the course was nicely groomed. A lot of the greens need a lot of attention. I do not know if it was winterkill or what but most of the greens had some good spots but mostly dead, dry ground.
We were not pushed at all on 18 holes so it allowed more time to hit multiple balls and look for lost balls.
All in all, a wonderful day.

Decently priced all things considered
It is the cheapest course around the Red Deer area. Staff is excellent and very nice. They do not abide by the 10 minute apart bookings.. It was literally back to back to back T offs. Constantly waiting for the group ahead made for a very long 18 holes on a Wednesday morning. Took 4.5 hours walking when we usually do it in 3.5. Only saw the drink cart once at the start of our 18. We don’t mind repeatedly golfing Meadowlands all things considered.

Great course in Sylvan Lake
Great golf course, fairways are in excellent shape, currently working on the greens but they were still very playable, great deals on Golf now for this course makes for a good weekday play. Recommend trying this course out if you are in the area !

Always a good time
I take my 8 year old and everyone is Always so friendly and don’t mind helping out And giving a tip or two to do the young ones.
Course has really come a long way
I’ve Been coming to meadowlands for about 12 years. The improvement/maturity of the course has been unreal. Greens are rolling and looking awesome. Staff is always friendly and accommodating, gotta give a shout out to the grounds crew, keep up the deadly work!!!
