Front 9 pace was alright, we were early so mostly 2 somes, if it had been slower I would have had no problem pairing up with group in front or behind. After front 9 pair infront dropped off. Teed off of 10 and pair was just walking off green and I thought it'll be a perfect pace. Got to tee off at 11 and in between us and pair in front a foursome had snuck between and there was another 4 some pulling up. Apparently front 9 was extremely over crowded and they thought they would come play the back 9. I have never seen this lack of control before. They graciously let us go ahead of them, YOU THINK!! Anyway the 4 some that snuck in front was horrible, slow and etc. etc. I'll never grace this course again!
Good course
Good course for beginners. Wide open and greens are in great condition
Meadowlands
Overall this course is 3 stars to me. Fun course, nice staff and good food you can look forward to at this course. P'S with golfnow the price was GREAT!
Chilly
They were watering the greens and tee boxes while we were out and I just about hit one of them. Just because it was chilly out, doesn't mean that the beer cart can't go out.
Course is commensurate with the price.
This course is usually in fairly good shape for the amount they water it. The price and location usually has me returning often.
Great Time/Great Price
Great afternoon deal on GolfNow. This late in season there were very few people on course so very fast pace of play. (~2 hours for 18) Course is still in great condition for mid Oct. Most small water hazards were empty but greens were pretty good.
Great place to score well
Meadowlands doesn't get the hype that other local courses get, but it's such a great place to play a round. For starters, it's pretty easy. Shorter par 5's and 2 very driveable par 4's. The greens are not as fast as some other spots, but that just helps the score.
The course does have some challenging holes and spots, but I would expect to play well if playing here.
Always pleasant staff and if the weather is serviceable, the course is likely looking great.
Some challenging greens
Several greens are elevated and sloped, making it challenging to stick the ball.
Tee Boxes and Greens
Everything was good about the course except the tee boxes needed some work and the
greens needed cutting and rolling.
okay
We had heard that Meadowlands was a good course to play. We were disappointed in the first nine, last was better, however course conditions need improvement.
Good Course
Good course for a quick 18, or to take beginner golfers for a round. Been there before, and would go again. Forgiving fairways make it easy to find your ball if / when you hit an errant shot.
