Good course - poor service
I’ve enjoyed this course many times over the years. I got a hot deal, so the price was right. But the pace of play was so slow - we were told we had to return our cart less than 3.5 hours after starting our round, and we had only completed 13 holes. It was extremely disappointing that due to their error in pace of play, we had to forfeit the rest of our round. They only gave us 15 minutes notice for the cart return (45 minutes before close they wanted carts back….). Staff did not mention this when round started. Staff were also quite rude aside from 1 young man in the restaurant (who was awesome because kitchen closed down before 8pm).
Sadly, this is a never ending issue at this course with pace of play.
Great course for Beginners, Casual play and Affordable
One of the cheapest 18 hole golf courses in central Alberta. Almost no hazards to worry about unless you severely slice or hook your shots. Very open fairways that lend themselves to new or casual players. Wish the golf carts had rain covers for clubs, but all in all it’s a good value place for anyone wanting to play some golf.
Great shape
The course is in the best shape it's ever been in!
Decent hot deal value
Walkable course.. Some fairway and green undulations.. Most greens like mushrooms but roll true and slow..tee boxes kept very long...ok value with hot deal
Whole in One
I am an average golfer and by a lucky chance, I got a “Whole in One” . The course gave me my own flag of 18 , which says “ Whole in One” took my picture took my name, really celebrated the accomplishments. I say thank you , Three more par 3’s to get a whole in one on , Challenged accepted.
Love the course , love the staff , happy to go back and back again. Thanks Sean T
Sunday Pace of Play Sliw
Like the course but found the Sunday pace of play slow. Appeared the course had no Marshalls but we could be wrong.
