Louisquisset Golf Club

Very simply put...my experience(s) here have been absolutely incredible! From the moment you step foot on the grounds your treated with the upmost respect. The course is well taken cared for and I always have a fantastic round of golf.

Will always come back here to play.

This course is the best value you can find on Golfnow or anywhere. A private 9 hole with excellent fast greens. It has a tricky layout for the first time playing with a lot of OB in play because of all the condos on the property. The pair I was paired with hit these condos on a few holes. I really only used the driver on 1 hole since it is pretty tight. There is no driving range to warm up but there is a putting green. I would come back here on golfnow next time I am in RI.

A course that requires a straight ball and putting skills. A nice combination of holes. Course conditions were excellent especially give the recent rains, staff was friendly. I've played this course many times and never tire of this track.

Louisquisset golf course is a miracle for a nine hole golf course. It is beautiful, challenging, and could well be one of the best kept courses in the state. Just consider the amount of rain we have had...the staff kept the course in amazing shape despite the downpours. And there is a pro that really knows his business. I have played a lot of nine hole layouts, but this is, by far, the best. If you love golf, you will love Louisquisset.

I can't say the day started out well to no fault of Louisquisset Golf Course. First, one of the threesome I had set up backed out and I ended up eating the cost. Then the pro in the pro shop informed me that cargo shorts (anything with extra pockets regardless any other features) are not allowed on the course. I do not blame the course for this. I should have been prepared for this. The pro could not have been more reasonable. An hour later I returned to the course with my new shorts. Being retired on a fixed budget, I was not about to pay the $70 for the very nice pair of shorts offered by the pro shop.

We - now a twosome - played the front 9 in less than an hour and a half with a threesome of older gentlemen on our heels the entire time. They were playing from the gold tees which drastically improved their rate of play. My partner quit after 9 holes and that allowed me to play a more relaxed 9 holes on the back side.

The course itself is in good shape albeit very short even from the blue tees and tight. The greens are especially good, true and fast - the way I like them. Even hitting practice shots on the back side, I completed the round in less than 3 hours. This is a classic example of what is called in FL condo golf. I hit the house to the right of the fairway on the first hole and fortunately got a member's bounce back into the fairway. There are some nice par 3s and i especially liked the 18th hole. Will I go back? Under the right circumstances, yes. This is the first year that I've used Golf Now and find it to be an excellent way for a retired 70 year old to play lots of different courses at very reasonable prices. Thank you, Golf Now!

Played this course roughly a month ago and it was quite soggy, but yesterday was phenomenal. Keith always makes you feel like a member, even though I booked through GN. Thanks for your hospitality!

Great day ! The course was in excellent condition, as always. The course is on the short side in length, but still very challenging. The restaurant is excellent , good value, good quality food.

I got a chance to play this usually private course this morning. After weeks of rain it was nice to have a few decent weather days and was really looking forward to playing. It didn't disappoint. I was in a bit of a rush when I got there but the pro/starter took care of everything and gave a quick layout rundown to get me out there pressure free. Looking at the scorecard it appeared to be a short easy run. It wasn't. The course has well placed bunkers and really tight out of bound markers throughout. Every shot had to be planned out ahead of time. The layout meanders through a picturesque golf community and made it feel like vacation golfing. But more importantly, the bends and spacings between holes really made pace of play become one of the quickest 18 holes I've ever played. Got a chance to eat at the Back Nine Tavern after my round. Great friendly service. Ordered a burger and a beer. Both were the delicious. Highly recommended.

Overall this course gets A+ rating for it's service and layout

Louisquisset is a hidden jewel. Although usually a private course, it was a truly great deal to find it through the Golf Now link. Despite having g been soaked by 3+ inches of rain the 2 previous day's, the course was in extremely good condition. The number of places where balls had to be replaced was not many.

The price and availability of acquiring a relatively quick tee time was outstanding. This made the whole round outstanding!

From the PGA pro in the shop, to the amazingly kept course, to the wings at the bar this place is an 11 out of 10. Only downside is it's only a 9 hole course, so we played it twice. This is a hidden gem in providence that's always been kept in perfect condition. A++ course

I use to be a member here years ago and also lived in the condos there at one time.

the course was in perfect shape. fast greens, no bare spots on the fairway at all, and the rough was just that, making it a challenge yet enjoyable.

it is not a long course but don't let that fool you, it is not easy. It is narrow with condos coming in to play on certain holes, and water on others.

its a hidden gem and while it may not have the cache of some other courses on here, it is the best 9 hole course i have ever played in RI.

Had a great time. The course was in excellent condition for mid November. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I felt like I was treated as one of the members. I definitely want to play the course again

Fantastic gem of a 9 hole course in Northern RI. My group has been trying to play here once every few weeks. Although the course is not long it is tough with some of the best greens you'll play on all year. Keep it in the fairway and away from the condos and you'll score. One of the nicest and gracious Pros around the area.

LouisQuisett is a well conditioned little nine-holer near North Providence, not too far from Mineral Spring Avenue. The greens are perfect, as good as you'll ever find on Golf Now, they're also extremely undulating, fast, and, ultimately, very challenging. The course is pretty tight as you'll see from the opening tee shot - condos line the course (much closer than you've probably ever seen that phenomenon), so my advice would be either a. learn how to hit the ball very straight, or b. hit less club off the tee to control your shot shape.

The only issue is when it gets crowded, not necessarily pace of play, but due to the layout you're kind of all over one another.

For $10.00 with a cart, it's one of the best deals going. The staff and members are all very cool and down to earth - it looks like a really fun place to be a member!

Course was in great condition and greens were great. Fast and difficult but perfect. Biggest negative is that the course has homes lining many of the holes. A little tight at times, but for the rates you can find on golfnow, worth playing.
