Breakfast Hill Golf Club

We have played this course a few times over the years and it’s always in exceptional shape! My only comment is pace of play was slow as there were several walkers ahead of us and it was cart path only after a storm overnight.

My coworker and I was in the area for a business offsite and wanted to get a round in before we went back to California. Found Breakfast Hill as a top NH public course on golf.com. Did not disappoint. Nice grass range, great breakfast sandwich, well maintained and designed course that made things challenging.

Avoid big distances and hit what you can to keep things in the fairway.

Staff was very friendly as well. We had our travel bags and luggage in tow and they were kind enough to hold them in the staff area for us while we played. A+

I know and like this course. I have played ti 5 or 6 times. But currently - they have a significant problem with divots. I know this is a customer issue - with golfers not replacing them. But I fix divots and ball marks every hole. I was out of Divot Mix 4 holes into the round. I grabbed more at the turn - but easily could have gone through 8 bottles. My issue is nobody in clubhouse or on staff asked (and I believe this can be done politely) for help from the customer to make sure we try to help with the course conditions. Great Staff - very friendly - but most golfers would not be offended by a politely phrased request fore help - and this course needs it right now.

Being a public golf course players need to understand that conditions are predicated on what they do to keep the the course in the best conditions possible. That does not seem to be the case at Breakfast Hill. Many tees need attention. Players, repair your divots everywhere.

I've been playing Breakfast Hill since the clubhouse was just a double-wide trailer and I believe it is the best course on the NH seacoast. It is a public course with a private course feel and course layout. Excellent target golf, Brian Silva design that will challenge you but not make you feel like you paid for a beating. It creates a sense of accomplishment when you do perform well and if you play all of the other courses in the area, you come to appreciate what Breakfast Hill has to offer. And as someone who tracks rates, BHill is the ONLY course around that didn't jack their rates by 20-60% after covid.

Course was is excellent shape despite the extreme rain and wind storm that passed through the night before. The day was hot and humid, but play moved along at a pace of four hours. The course is very walkable.

Various tees are available for all player's experience and desire to enjoy the day. The grill has a very good menu and a complete bar to enjoy after play. The grill also has an outdoor patio with plenty of sitting. You will not be disappointed playing Breakfast Hill.

Although we have played this course, many times this is the first time we stopped to have some food after we played. We walked the front nine and the course was in great shape. We sat outside after the round and enjoyed some real tasty food. All the staff that we encountered were great. Will be back soon.

Staying in Ogunquit.. drove down to play. Course was in great shape. Greens were still recovering from aeration / overseeding. Tees for all skill levels. Just enough water, etc. to make things interesting. Up / down / right / left, but the course was open enough to make keeping track of the ball manageable. Definitely would play it again.

Played with son Joe and a couple of singles, good group with similar skill levels. Pace was a little slow, and day was hot/humid. Cart girls made frequent stops, so excellent attention to your golfers. Great course and will definitely come again!
