Pace of Play
Horrible! 3 hours to play only 9 holes, then when we got to #10, 2 groups of 4 already there, 1st group just teeing off, 2nd group waiting and then our group of 4, with another group only minutes away behind us. There was an event that morning and when we arrived 45 minutes early of our Tee time, there were already at least two groups of 4 waiting on Hole #1. There was a Marshal riding around but either he wasn’t moving groups along or the Course did a poor job in planning the event and let players schedule tee times to soon after the event. As the course has an expectation of a good pace of play by the players, the players also have that same expectation. We watched players look for balls well beyond reasonable times, groups just standing on the green chit chatting after all 4 players were done putting. If I can see 2 groups ahead of me doing this, those same groups can see that there are 2 groups behind them waiting for them to leave the green. After 9 holes and seeing that the back 9 was going to be worse, we left! Just so frustrating to have spent more time leaning on my clubs than swinging them. And to top off an already awful day of golfing, another player joined our group and his golf etiquette was selfish and rude as he continued to tell us that we could hit our ball when golfers ahead of his were clearly in our range of being struck by our balls. For the pace of play only would I personally hesitate to play there again. It’s hard to get into the game when you’re constantly having to stop and wait for so long.
Pleasantly surprised
On vacation in the area and I picked this course over others close by. Luckily I was paired with three members who gave me great advice in helping my play by their sharing their knowledge of the course. Great challenging layout and the course was in excellent condition and quite frankly better than I expected. I work at an upscale golf club in NY and I know that good conditions enhances the player experience. If I’m ever in the area again I would not hesitate to book a tee time at Breakfast Hill Golf Club again.
Great as usual
A great experience in every way. The finest public course on the seacoast and one of the top NH public courses. Staff is fantastic, amenities are great, and course is top notch. A very Donald Ross like course, you have to hit your targets or the course will punish you. It’s a fantastic golf layout. Also, had a hole in one on number 6 so that makes for an even better day on the course
Breakfast Hill first time
1st time playing course for my son and I. I was very impressed with conditions of the course. The points that I wasn't impressed with was the restrictive cart policy not allowing cart use if tee time is less than 4.5 hrs before sunset. An important point I learned when checking in at pro shop.
Also the starter is so old that he asked me my last name six times.
Always a good course
Like playing this course but seems like the greens are not getting the maintenance that they need.
Golf carts
Please don’t include golf cart fees
When we sign and book for 18
Including golf carts
Then we get there and you tell us we have to bring the golf cart after 9 holes
To me that’s false advertisement maybe you guys should

Fun course to play
Fairways in good shape. Greens were excellent and rolling fast. Rough was pretty thin in some areas but playable. Cart paths were in tough shape. Pace of play was good. All in all a fun course to play and great value.
Breakfast Hill...Great course
Really nice layout with tee selections for all handicaps. Greens were a bit bumpy. For the life of me can't understand why some golfers can't fix there ball marks on the greens and divots on the fairways.

Would look to play again if in the area
This course was a pleasant surprise, which I would like to play, again. It was in excellent shape and had a nice layout. Would be challenging from the tips. Staff was very friendly. Did not get to try the food, but it looked popular, with what appeared to be people showing up just to eat.
First time
I was surprised how great the course conditions were. The greens ran around 10 and were challenging and true. I definitely will play again....
