JaTo Highlands was opened in 1999 with the mission of providing a pleasurable experience for all levels of golfers. Jato's spectacular layouts play over rolling hills and through beautiful hardwood forests offering breathtaking views of Mt. Katahdin, surrounding lakes, and hills.

Gem in the woods!
This is a beautiful course. Very well maintained. Beautiful views of Katahdin in the distance.
Many fairways isolated in the woods. Broad fairways and some elevated Donald Ross style. First hole is a dogleg right. Hit your tee shot 200 yards to have a chance at the green.
Get your group and go there!
Looking Good
Course is coming in after all the spring rain. Enjoy the greens. They are a challenge being smaller to land on. Enjoy JaTo very much.
JaTo Highlands
Played JaTo for the first time. It was a bit of a drive from my location but worth it. The weather has been working against them as it's been a really rainy spring. It's hard to cut grass in the rain! Lol Taking that into consideration the course was in pretty good shape. The layout is interesting with scenery and challenges. The Pro Shop was well appointed and the staff was very friendly and professional. I will give it another go in the near future once Mother Nature has been more cooperative. I would recommend the course.
Jato
The course has seen a lot of rain and the staff is trying to deal with it the best they can and they are doing an excellent job. Enjoyed the 18 holes and will return again. We’ll worth the money.
Good Value
A mnii Sugarloaf. Beautiful views, well designed, challenging, excellent greens, upkeep and maintenance exceptional. One of my favorite courses to visit a couple time a summer. Never disappoints. Ever!
First time player here
Wow! It rained the night before but it did not affect the course one bit. What a fine course. So close to where we are staying in Lincoln too. Highly recommend!!

The course, staff and play is spectacular. Consistently our favorite course north of Augusta. Beautiful, peaceful and a challenge.
Great golf course!
The staff were very helpful and nice. The tee boxes were nice and the greens as well . It was a nice layout with many different types of holes. I would recommend playing this goof course .
Yearly
We try to play a couple of times in the summer.Always a challenging round. Course as usual is in great shape. Highly recommend.
