Wardsville Golf Club - Alvin

Course a must play. Has 27 holes...well laid out with challenges. Very pretty course and well maintained.

There always improving,great staff and crew small town feel ,friendly and personal.satisfing round.

Good shape of xourae and greens. Lot of holes are straight, but with all tree besides the fairways you have to play steaight.

Course was in very good condition. Greens were quite firm and a bit slow, but overall, a very nice course to play. Considerable distance between some holes requires a cart for those with mobility issues.

This course was a big surprise. It is very beautiful and would highly recommend to anyone who golfs. There are some very challenging holes. We found the course to be in a very well maintained condition. This was extremely good value for the money we paid and will be anxious to return for another round.

Really enjoyed playing this course. Very good condition, challenging course. As a senior who can only hit it about 170 yards I probably should have played the red tees, but I did OK from the whites.

This course has 27 holes. The original 18 has many narrow tree lined fairways. The newest 9 is more wide open but has gorse to keep you in line. The fairways are well maintained and the traps are adequate.The greens are smallish but very well maintained and fast.

We arrived at 11:25 for a 12:12 tee time ordered a sandwich and beverage to go and were allowed to tee off almost immediately. We were playing as a twosome and had clear sailing and finished our round at 2:30. The food and beverages are great and the prices are reasonable.

Played Alvin and Simon. Alvin is very tight for higher handicap golfers. If you miss the fairway you are most likely in tree trouble on most holes. Simon is wider and though it also has tree lined fairways it seems much more playable. Would have preferred to play Theodore but it was not available as it is much more open and enjoyable. Entire course is very well manicured and fairways and greens are in exceptional condition. Hole 8 on Simon is very challenging par 4. Requires a good drive to set up a tough shot over the water to a small green.

Overall a great course.

The course was in very good condition as always.They always take care of the course.Staff is always friendly,courteous and helpful.You will not be disappointed playing this course.Actually you should make a point to play this course!

We recently played here and I have to commend the groundskeeping staff. The course is in overall great shape for this early in the season, considering the recent downpours and high winds.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, the course ranger should maybe work on his people skills, not overly friendly, seemed quite miserable to be spending the day driving the links.

Interesting hole locations with long fairways and strategic bunkers and hazards....

This course is absolutely beautiful and in stunning condition! For the end of April this course is in mid summer conditions. There currently isnt a course in London that is in as good of shape as this course. The value and quality of the course make the commute out to Wardsville more than worth it. I will definitely be coming back

This is a really beautiful course and a great deal with 27 holes to play in any combo you want!! the staff is super friendly and the course was in amazing shape especially for early spring!! Highly recommend it!
