About
Tooth of the Dogpound Creek Golf Club sprawls across a scenic landscape that is also home to an abundance of wildlife that includes deer, ducks, and moose. The name is a play on its location in the valley of the Dogpound Creek. The course has a challenging design that utilized the natural features of the terrain. The layout flows along the gently rolling hills and incorporates the meandering creek that crosses the length of the golf course and the lakes and ponds that are sprinkled throughout. Tooth of the Dogpound Creek Golf Club begins with some challenging holes, the tricky part mainly being the small greens. After the first few holes the greens get bigger and more player friendly but be prepared for some elevated tees and greens that require careful course management.

Nice Surprise
As first-timers to Tooth of the Dog Pound, my wife and I found it to be a nice surprise. The course played fairly easy although not knowing the layout and not having a map of the holes made it more challenging than it would have been. Fairways were in great shape but the greens were recently aerated and bumpy (we were not advised of this before we began our round). Very scenic and with low traffic on the course, it was very serene and very enjoyable. We completed our round in under 3.5 hrs with no waiting. Would be a tough walk due to the distances between some greens and tees.
Good condition
The course was in very good condition for this early in the season.
greens are in great shape
course has has a lot of standing water on holes 9 to 12 otherwise course is in great shape some holes are blind shots which makes it challenging
Peaceful
A bit wet out there still but just added water hazards to try to avoid , in a couple weeks it should be back to normal
